Hello, Ladies of Hive! I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. Today I’m here to take part in the community’s #304 challenge, where our friend @elizabethbit has shared two different questions with us – questions that help us get to know ourselves better and inspire us to write a post. Si tuvieras tiempo y pudieras realizar un curso educativo sobre cualquier tema, ¿qué estudiarías y cómo utilizarías los conocimientos adquiridos?
If you had the time and could take an educational course on anything, what would you study and how would you use the knowledge gained?
En los últimos dos años he estado haciendo cursos de diferentes temas, uno de farmacia y otro más hacia el lado administrativo. Sin embargo, me gustaría poder hacer un curso que tuviera que ver con el arte en específico con la pintura o con la escritura. Ambas cosas me gustan y me apasionan pero siento que no soy tan buena aún para realizarlas, aunque se que de forma autodidacta podría también aprender y existe el internet, que nos da la oportunidad de aprender múltiples cosas sin la necesidad de ir a una institución o de realizar algo de manera presencial. También me gustaría poder aprender algo que tuviera que ver con maquillaje, siempre me ha llamado la atención esto o que tuviera que ver con el cuidado de la piel. Siento que es sumamente importante cuidarnos para sentirnos mejor con lo que vemos en nosotros, es una forma más de darnos un poco de amor y de aprender algo diferente que nos puede servir durante toda nuestra vida y quien sabe, tal vez si nos apasiona tanto podemos hasta dar unas pequeñas clases de estos cursos aprendidos. Nunca está demás aprender algo nuevo y estoy abierta a hacerlo si se me da la oportunidad. ☺️
Over the last two years, I’ve been taking courses on various subjects, one in pharmacy and another more on the administrative side. However, I’d like to take a course related to art – specifically painting or writing. I enjoy and am passionate about both, but I feel I’m not quite good enough at them yet, although I know I could also teach myself, and there’s the internet, which gives us the opportunity to learn all sorts of things without having to go to an institution or attend classes in person. I’d also like to learn something to do with make-up – it’s always fascinated me – or something to do with skincare. I feel it’s incredibly important to look after ourselves so we feel better about how we look; it’s another way of showing ourselves a bit of love and learning something different that could be useful throughout our lives. And who knows, perhaps if we’re really passionate about it, we might even be able to teach a few short classes based on what we’ve learnt. It never hurts to learn something new, and I’m open to doing so if the opportunity arises. ☺️

Tengo varios colores favoritos, entre ellos están el azul, el morado y el verde. De los tres creo que me gusta más el morado, me encantan las diferentes tonalidades que existen y me gusta como se ve tanto en ropa como en maquillaje. Es un color precioso, me gusta desde que era adolescente y aunque no tengo tantas cosas de este color porque tiendo a irme más por colores pasteles que mezclan el rosado, azul, verde y otros colores, me gusta poder tener cosas de color morado. Algo que también me encanta de este color es que muy pocas veces cuando vemos el cielo logramos mirar el morado en él, pero las veces que sucede es súper bonito y me hace sentir muy feliz. Algunas cosas de color morado que tengo son en su mayoría por mi cantante favorito y por Kuromi, me encanta este personaje y creo que es porque me gusta el color y la combinación que hacen con el negro en ella. Es un color muy llamativo y aunque no me guste sobresalir, siento que es de mis colores favoritos entre todos los que existen. 💜✨
I have several favourite colours, including blue, purple and green. Of the three, I think I like purple best; I love the different shades available and I like the way it looks in both clothes and make-up. It’s a beautiful colour; I’ve liked it since I was a teenager. Although I don’t have that many things in this colour – as I tend to go for pastel shades that blend pink, blue, green and other colours – I do like having a few purple items. Another thing I love about this colour is that it’s very rare to see purple in the sky, but on the occasions when it does happen, it’s absolutely lovely and makes me feel really happy. Most of the purple things I own are because of my favourite singer and Kuromi; I love this character and I think it’s because I like the colour and the way it goes with black. It’s a very striking colour and, although I don’t like to stand out, I feel it’s one of my favourite colours out of all the colours there are. 💜✨

You are correct-there is so much information available on the internet, attending a class is pretty easy to do that way. Learning artistic skills online will improve how one feels I suspect, when able to create something beautiful with those skills

Yes, there are lots of ways to learn about the things that interest us; even on YouTube we can find really interesting, high-quality information.
Purple is a unique colour; I love seeing it in everything, whether it’s on an item of clothing, in a work of art, in make-up or even in a photograph where you can catch a glimpse of that colour in the sky.
