A Neighbor's Betrayal - Ghost of Tsushima.

I upgraded my gear in Azamo Bay before meeting Hyoe, who suspected his neighbor of working with bandits. I tracked the suspect to a house near the cemetery, where I found evidence of a hidden camp. While hiding in the grass, I overheard the pair planning to hide a stolen relic.

After finally finishing up my unfinished business in Azamo Bay, I took a moment to visit the tailor and upgrade my traveler's attire. The new look is much sharper, and I spent a few minutes just checking it out.

While I was admiring the new gear, a man named Hyoe approached me. He clearly had something heavy on his mind, but he didn't want to speak out in the open.

He asked me to follow him to a more secluded, safer location before he would reveal the details. I followed him through the quiet paths, wondering what kind of trouble he'd stumbled into.

Once we were alone, Hyoe explained his situation. He has a neighbor he suspects of secretly meeting with bandits near a nearby cemetery. He isn't entirely sure what their business is, but he's certain it's nothing good.

He insisted that if his suspicions are true, the neighbor and his bandit friends must be brought to justice to keep the area safe.

This conversation officially kicked off a new side mission titled "Honor Buried Deep." It's one of those local tales that really shows how the war was changing people, turning neighbors against each other and forcing common folk to find desperate ways to survive.

I set off toward the suspect's home, which was located right near the Azamo Cemetery about 230 meters away. The atmosphere around the graveyard was always thick with tension, making it the perfect place for a secret meeting.

Upon reaching the site, I began investigating the perimeter. I found fresh campfires and clothes that had recently been washed.. It was clear that a group had been living here quite comfortably, confirming that Hyoe’s neighbor wasn't living alone.

I moved inside the house, and it was a complete mess. I found the remains of a meal that looked like it had been eaten just moments ago. The trail was definitely getting warm, so I knew I had to find a spot to wait and watch.

I decided to hide in the tall pampas grasses nearby to stay out of sight. After waiting for a short while, the neighbor finally appeared alongside a bandit. I overheard them talking about an Inari statue, a valuable relic they intended to bury with the rest of their loot.
