Traitor's Web Of Lies - Ghost of Tsushima.

I crossed the bridge past slaughtered innocents and reached the southern road, initiating a fierce battle. After clearing archers with stealth, swordplay, and a shootable beehive, we defeated a Mongol leader who carried a warning of a looming bloodbath at Hiyoshi Springs.

After defeating the Mongols around the bridge, we had to cross the bridge and reach the road south, which was like 230 meters away. While crossing the bridge, I noticed some dead bodies of innocent people that the Mongols killed along the path.

After reaching the road south, we noticed there was another group of Mongols guarding their site. As I climbed up a cliff, I reached the spot behind them from where I could plan my next moves.

It seemed like trying a stealth approach would be difficult because those Mongols were too close by. So I did not go for stealth or a standoff, and instead I just assassinated one of them mercilessly while the others noticed it immediately.

While Ishikawa was shooting the Mongols on the lower ground, I ran to the higher grounds to take care of some archers who were raining down arrows on us.

After kicking one of them out of that high ground, I shot a beehive close to another archer. The bees distracted the archer and even took care of him themselves.

While I was done taking care of all the archers, a spearman came around to fight me. After attacking him, I tried a high kick and took him down to clear the ridge.

It looked like there was a single Mongol left whom Ishikawa was fighting. I did not want to mess with his fight, so I just stayed back and started watching him fighting the weak enemy.

I noticed him fighting for a moment, but it looked like he did not have it in him, even after being a great master. So I just shot down the Mongol and saved the sensei instead.

When I thought we were done taking care of all the Mongols around, there came this Mongol leader, and he started attacking me, so I attacked back in defense.

Then I again decided to give the sensei a chance to fight the Mongol leader, but I just understood I had to help him fighting the Mongol. At last, the sensei took down the Mongol leader with his last arrow.

Before dying, the Mongol said he had a message for the sensei, a warning that all of Hiyoshi Springs would beg for mercy like the victims of Hironori Nagao, and then Ishikawa silenced him with another arrow.

Jin knew Hironori Nagao died fighting bandits, so he asked the sensei what really happened. Ishikawa mentioned Nagao was reputed to be a great archer but never studied with him, explaining that Tomoe was spreading lies to make them doubt each other, as they were all that stands between Hiyoshi Springs and a bloodbath, and with this conversation, the mission came to an end.

I liked how you prioritized the archers first. They're always the biggest threat during fights like this. I never continued the quests of Sensei Ishikawa and Lady Masako. I guess I really need to get back into the game.

The dead bodies on the bridge really changed the mood of the mission. Before that it felt like another patrol, but after seeing them, the battle felt much more personal.

The Mongol leader's final warning made the ending much more interesting. It feels like the next mission is going to be even bigger.

I haven't played it, but one of the things I can say about this game that I love is the historical adaptation it does in the best way regarding the design and costumes of the characters!

The Mongol leader's warning at the end made it clear that the real battle was still ahead.
