Whispers of Missing Souls - Ghost of Tsushima.

I rode toward Kashine Forest at sunset, defeated a bear and a Mongol patrol along the way. Near Yagata Farmstead, I eliminated a bandit group looting peasants. Guided by a yellow bird, I met a peasant who warned me that spirits and death stalks the forest, keeping even the Mongols away.

Many believed the Kashine forest was haunted. Lately, people had been going into the woods and not coming out, and I needed to know why. After exploring Kashine Hills, I began riding toward Kashine Forest just as the sun was setting. I decided to enter the woods after dark to experience the full, haunting atmosphere.

On my way toward the forest, I noticed two Mongols locked in a fight with a bear. Because I rarely ignore Mongols when I spot them, I launched a critical attack on one of them while the bear handled the other.

Once I finished landing my critical hit, the bear turned its focus toward me and attempted to kill me. It inflicted lethal damage even after I dodged several of its attacks, throwing me backward twice as it kept up its aggressive strikes

At last, I hunted the predator down and collected five predator hides from its carcass.

With the distraction dealt with, I continued riding toward Kashine Forest. Near Yagata Farmstead, I stumbled upon a group of bandits who had just killed several peasants and were actively looting their bodies.

I attacked them immediately, unwilling to leave behind a pack of ruthless killers who targets innocent people.

I slayed them one by one, prioritizing two archers after dispatching the initial swordsman. Once the archers fell, I turned my attention to the last remaining enemy, a spearman, and took him down with satisfaction.

I rode past Yagata Farmstead toward Kashine Forest, which was not far off. Along the path, I noticed local farmers planting seedlings in the soil, attempting to rebuild their lives following the Mongol invasion.

As I traveled, a yellow bird appeared and tried to guide me toward something hidden. I followed the bird straight into Kashine Forest, where I encountered a frightened peasant who warned me to stay back, speaking nervously of spirits.

I stepped closer to talk to him. He explained that while the forest was once a place of refuge, everyone who entered the woods recently was never seen again.

Jin mentioned that people naturally went missing during times of war, but the peasant insisted that even the Mongols feared the location. He advised me to wait until nightfall, warning that death stalks the forest once darkness fall.
