Friends, I hope you are doing well. Welcome to my new post. Several months ago, I went to Dhaka, which is the capital of Bangladesh. Dhaka is one of the most ancient monuments of history and heritage. There are many places in this ancient Dhaka city that have many old and archaeological monuments.

Dhaka city originally progressed a lot during the Mughal period. Due to which it was formed as the capital of Bengal at that time. One such place in Dhaka city is Lalbagh Fort. I saw this place on TV as a child. But I have never been to this place since I was a child. Several months ago, I went there, which was a traditional place located in Old Dhaka in Dhaka city.

Actually, there are many places in Old Dhaka that are very old. I first took a rickshaw there. To go there, we basically had to buy a ticket. I saw a big line in front of the ticket counter. Then I bought a ticket there for 50 taka. Then I went inside. I saw that there were several foreign tourists who had come here mainly to see this Lalbagh Fort.

Here I entered through the gate. It was mainly a holiday due to which there were quite a lot of people there. First I entered, after entering, I noticed that there were two buildings in front. Which were mostly pink colored buildings. I think they may have been repainted now. At first I thought it was a bit like the Taj Mahal. However, when I went there, I saw inside that there was a shrine. Which was basically a shrine for a woman.

This Lalbagh Fort was built to protect the city of Dhaka from enemy attacks. There is a mosque in this place which is basically a big mosque with three domes. The mosque is very beautiful to look at, I liked the place a lot. The old building that you can see here is basically a shrine. Inside which is the shrine of a relative. When Bengal was the capital, Shaista Khan built it and his daughter Paribibi is buried here.

However, the buildings here are mainly made of marble stone which looks very nice. In fact, 300,400 years ago, these buildings were definitely made of market stone. Due to which these buildings are still in a very good condition. Since our Dhaka city was the capital before, many signs of these structures can be seen in this Dhaka city. I walked around the shrine and saw a very beautiful place. I saw many people around the building who were peeking inside to see what was inside.

However, entering inside is prohibited for the common people. Its doors are closed. However, I saw another building next to it which is basically a pink building. Maybe royal people used to live there. However, there is a small museum inside that building which is actually amazing to look at. I went inside and saw the entrance that there were quite a few things in it. However, taking pictures there was prohibited, due to which I was able to take very few pictures there.

However, I saw many things there, one of which was a big place for bathing. I saw a toilet for the people of the dynasty there. There may have been many more things here but now they are no longer there. These have been taken to the Dhaka Central Museum. I saw a small staircase that can be used to go up. But there was a lot of obstruction there.

Then I went out of there and went forward. There I saw a big pond. In front of it are some ruins of another building. That is where I saw some small hills from where I stood and took this whole Lalbagh Fort picture. I saw a very beautiful garden there where mainly sunflowers were blooming. Tourists were roaming around here and seeing everything. They enjoyed it a lot. I stayed there until almost afternoon. Then I left. I hope everyone likes my post.
