My response to the @Indiaunited Contest Theme- : "If I Could Master One Skill Instantly"

There are so many things in life I am fascinated about and sometimes I even wish that I had all of those skills, but then coming back to reality I understand my limitations. There are couple of things that I would want to learn instantly. I have always been very intrigued about esoteric topics and activities. When we speak about esoteric wisdom it's huge, it's just not one skill where you can master. It is also about paranormal activities, like channeling with those who have crossed on the other side, out of body experiences, lucid dreaming, automatic writing, channeling, alternative healing therapies like Reiki and all.

So, if I could master one skill then it would be acquiring skills of a Shaman and about raising my consciousness to that level where all of this can be done effortlessly. It sounds weird but yes, I would like to. I have this habit of dream journaling where I have learnt how our dreams can guide us in our day-to-day life. It has taken me years to start understanding and interpreting dreams and still not mastered it. I am a Reiki Grand Master and a Crystal Healing therapist; I do it but then there are so many other practices which can be learned and that will also help me in my existing practices. Like Aura Reading.

A Shaman is not some one who has taken 10 courses and got the healing knowledge. This is a person whose awareness is so clear that healing, guiding and seeing becomes so natural. It's self-work and not certificates. I would want to master my mind in such a way that this level of awareness comes effortlessly to me, and that's definitely a skill.

Esoteric wisdom is not something you learn from books; you do get guidelines for it, but then it's a lot of self-work, certain practices to follow, raising intuition and psychic awareness. It takes years and years to achieve it, but yet still no one can master all of it, because as humans we have limitations of our mind as well. The awareness and consciousness are to a very different level for those who can master it. Like the native American Shamans, they are still there. I do not exactly know how much knowledge do they still possess in the current times, but yes in the past these people have been master healers. They could analyze a person's energy field just in one glance.

I do not know whether I can even call it a skill, because it is more of wisdom then skill. Consciousness says - Unfold as you are ready. The skill of being in the present is like the root of this from where all the branches will spread out and I would want to master that. Weird but true, that's what I would want for myself.
