Some time back I wrote about my Yakatabune cruise experience. It is a wonderful activity to do while in Tokyo. The cruise definitely gives some very unique culinary experience but after the food one can also enjoy the time with beautiful views of Tokyo city. There are multiple starting points of this cruise, we took the one starting from Azumabashi Pier which went right up to Odaiba water front and then back to Azumabashi Pier. In all, a 2 hours ride starting at 6:30.

As soon as we boarded, the meals were served and they kept coming all through the journey. Something or the other was served till half an hour before we completed the journey. After a while, I was feeling stuffed and the outside views are also not to be missed. I took a break from the food part and stepped out for the views and to get some pictures. Tokyo by night is enchanting. It's dazzling with lights.

On the route we could see the Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Sky Tree, the Rainbow Bridge and many other bridges, and a lot of glittering buildings. Tokyo skyline is all shining at this hour.

That's the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge. It's called a Rainbow bridge because there is colorful light display here, but on the day, we visited it was not there. I guess they must be doing it on special days.

There is a water fountain in the middle of the river

This one looks like some fancy hotel. The terrace part is fascinating. Not sure what it is but it looked good on sight. Like a crown on top.

There is another boat passing by and behind it you can see the water fountain glowing in pink color.
