This was a day before I left for Mumbai. It was Mom's last day in Muscat so we planned to go for a lunch with her to one of the beach side restaurant. The weather was perfect to be outdoors and it had been long time that I visited the beach during day time. It is normally during late evenings only that I go to the beach for my walks. I find it very therapeutic and peaceful at that time. But visiting it in day time has it's own charm, I can see the turquoise color of the water and it's a beautiful sight.

The venue for lunch was hubby's favorite restaurant, Shrimp Station. We are both sea food lovers so a sea food meal is ideal for us on any given day. My Mom also enjoys sea food the most, this was the perfect pick to treat her.

To start with we ordered a dish of Prawns dynamite and a Veggie Salad and then for main course again some more Prawns in Thai curry.

We had a clear view of the beach from our table itself.

After enjoying a sumptuous meal, I decided to spend some time at the beach and I also took some pictures of the views around.

The beaches of Oman are among one of the most beautiful beaches of the world and also unexplored. They are not very famous on the tourist list. The government here do not even want to make it very commercial, there are many beaches across the country where you will barely find any people. Though the beaches within the city are now getting commercialized with resorts coming up by the beach side.

For almost an hour I was at the beach enjoying the weather. Mom also loved it, because where she stays there are no beaches, this is a visual treat for her.
