Preparing for the Garden set up

As my house shapes up, along with the interiors I also need to work on the external area. From the total plot area I have divided it in 2 parts, where half of it will be used for gardening and the other half for parking, pool and sitting area. To look at it now almost 75% of the work is completed and whatever 25% is remaining we need to proceed on a fast pace before the monsoon sets in June. Till then the full painting needs to get completed. I feel we will make it just in time. My target is to complete the painting by end of April so that it gets one month time to get a good dry. Ideally it does not take long and the paints these days are of very superior quality. But still I would prefer to give that much time.

Now I have started with the Garden work, the first step to it was to clean up the area and then make sure there is enough depth for the plantations. There were sides which did not have enough depth, so I got those areas raised with a boundary, so that the plants can grow well.

These man are good at their job, they made sure that everything was cleared up well. I did not have any hassle getting the work done remotely. I was monitoring them on the camera. They took almost the day to clear up all the garden areas. My gardens are spread out in small parts in different parts of the plot. There are some sides which have good depth and some are shallow, so I will need to plant also accordingly. Thankfully I have a gardener who is a local and is giving me all the guidance. It is important to take guidance of the local people, because they know the weather conditions that adapt with the soil there. Else my garden will be of no use, if I do not grow the right things there.

I have a big wish list but sadly there are some fruits and vegetables that do not grow in this climate like Olives and Avocados do not grow here. I have to go with what grows best in this climate and soil.

Honestly, these are the people who are actually making my dream come true, and I always feel so grateful. I know it's their job and they take money for that, but imagine if there are no people to do the low end jobs then there will never be beautiful creations. For everything to come up, there are the base level things to be done, which are the most important and without them it cannot complete.

Once it's all cleaned up, now is the soiling part. This is the entrance part and I want to have some of the Fengshui plants in this garden.

This is a small area, here I plan to do the herbs like garlic, ginger, mint and all.

The back side area is for fruit trees.

This is one of the main one where I want to have a mango tree and other veggie trees.

Cleaning and soiling work has been done, after a few more days once all the external tiling work gets completed we will put compost in all of these gardens and then the gardener will start sowing the seeds as per this season. By then I will be in Mumbai again. I will want to physically be there while doing all of that work.

We have come a long way with our house work and looking at the work completed it all feels so satisfying.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

The new home you are building is really good. It's obvious you are investing a lot of financial resources and effort into making it the best it can be, and it is paying off. It's good you are taking your time to get every thing right according to your taste and no doubt you will enjoy it when you move in, especially the garden. Thanks for writing and have a great day.

Your garden will be even more beautiful as the area in which it's going to be set up is very spacious.
