🙌🏽🌻Sublime Sunday🙌🏽💖 by @c0ff33a - Visit to the newly opened Zoo - Part 2

Continuing with the Zoo post from yesterday, some more pictures and experience to share with you all today.

I have a mixed feeling about these places. Sometimes I feel they should not be there in the first place. Imagine someone caging me up and then people coming to see me, it would be so awful. To be very honest, I did not enjoy this Zoo because I felt the place for each animal here was very small, specially the big ones like Lion, Leopard, Bears and all. Also some of the animals like Deer and Ostrich, who need space to run around, the place was small for them. When we spoke to the people in-charge there, they mentioned that some of them are in temporary enclaves and still the work is going on to set them up.

I just hope that these animals get good space to move around, else it would be a torture for them. I have visited some other Zoos in another Countries and the conditions and space there are much better. Nothing justifies, but still the least we can do is to give them a better home.

Here we have some Lamas

Th very unique animal, it looks like a goat breed only but the color and stripes I have never seen them before. As I said the place is still in the making so most of the names are also missing.

This Peacock has the most unique color I have ever seen. I have never seen a Peacock with white shades, this one is so very beautiful and charming.

After completing the Zoo by foot, we then took this cart and again went around the place in the cart. It was some fun doing this.

We spent around 3 hours here and then again started our drive back home. It was a long drive so we did take a halt for lunch. The Zoo had some eating outlets but the menu was not very appealing to me. It was a nice day outing. Not all of it felt fun, I did not like to see the animals in the cage. After this one I am not sure if ever I would want to visit a Zoo again because of this ill feeling.

I have the same feelings about zoos. Mixed feelings. Somes zoos are ok. Their animals have a lot of space, the employees take good care of them and they might even run some reintroduction programs where they work on reproducing the animals (especially endangered species) and then putting them back in nature. But there are also many zoos where the animals are held in horrible conditions where they can never be happy. It´s important to consider this and not support the "bad zoos".

That's very true, the one I visited in Zurich, I felt good about the place, very good care was being taken care and they had a natural environment, but this one though they are taking good care, I felt the place was small

I have always thought that Lamas are another kind or breeds of goat but I’m surprised that it is not a got at all
You really had a nice time at the zoo and you learnt a lot

It is very beautiful because all kinds of animals can be seen in it and the mind becomes happy after seeing them.
