🙌🏽🌻Sublime Sunday🙌🏽💖 by @c0ff33a - Weekend Garden Duties

Saturday morning is normally dedicated to my plants. Everyday I do take care of them, but on Saturday it's the time to give them special care and maintenance. I had a beautiful Money plant, which is also called Pothos or Ivy. It was growing so well, that it had become the beauty of my living room. Everyone who would come to my place would eye that plant and I always had this feeling that it's getting too many eyes. I have some superstitious beliefs around all this.

Since past few months my plant has not been growing well and leaves were all drying up, I was trying since some time to bring it back to it's glory that was before but it was just not happening, so finally yesterday I decided to trim up the whole plant and remove all the withered stems and cleaned it up. I am feeling very sad to see it shrink so much to what it was. But for it to grow back again well, I had to do it. It's an old plant, has been with me since past 5 years, for 4 years it was blooming and since past 4 to 5 months it has started drying up. I changed the soil and removed all the dried stems from it, so hopefully now it will start growing again like before.

After all the trimming and clean up, it looks like this now.

And let me show you what it was like before, you will see the difference and understand why I am feeling so sad.

This was while it was still growing

And then it grew to this

All the leaves on the top part had dried out, some dried from the middle part so I had to remove those stems also. I cleaned it up entirely in which there were some stems which had fresh leaves. I normally do not throw them away. I put them in a water bowl which I place it next to my bed. They stay fresh for many months in it.

This time the bowl is filled up

Now I am hoping that from here on it will grow back again to what it was before and again spark up my space. I do not like to see my space empty, I am missing the green patch.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Plants truly add beauty and happiness to a place. Your pothos are very healthy, they are happily climbing your ceilings. They are perfect indoor plants.
Your living space is quite spacious adding some palm plants indoors would be perfect too they have big leaves, also some bonsai plants like the rubber tree would be perfect as well.

I do have a lot of them on the other side of the room which cannot be seen in this picture. Yes it's a big space and the greens look gorgeous in here

I couldn't help feeling sad when I saw how it looked before. I get whey you feel distraught about it.

We have this beautiful fruit tree in our garden and everyone who came would point hands at it and some even touch it, even when we warned that no one was to do that. It may be superstitious but we believe that pointing incessantly at a plant hinders its growth and that's what happened. Took us a lot to recover that fruit tree.

I do hope yours returns to its former glorious look.🌺💞

Thank you my dear.
Oh I strongly believe in this evil eye thing and many times people do not even do it intentionally but it happens with too many eyes on anything which has good energy.

Plants in the house have many benefits, they enhance the beauty of the house and we get a new freshness as soon as we wake up in the morning, it is provided to us in the form of oxygen.
