The Bitcoin Lounge Story

Yesterday morning I was out for some work, I was in this busy commercial area of the city which is known as Fort area. When you visit this part of the city it will remind you of the British times. It's a huge area and near the Sea. There is a Fort in this area, which was built by the British East India Company with an intention of providing defense to the city against Napoleon Bonaparte. He was a French General and in those days he was onto conquering different parts of the world. The Britishers had to take measures on this and the Fort was built. Later this whole area came to be known as Fort area. Now it is a complete Business area of the city. Since this whole area was developed by British you will see all the buildings here with British style architecture.

Most of these buildings go under the Heritage structure tag but the sad part is that they are not maintained very well. Though the outer appearance looks good, from inside they are all in a shabby state. Whenever I visit this area it reminds me of my childhood days as I would come here very often with my Dad for all Bank related works. In those days all the big banks were established here. My very first job which was a part time one in a Merchant Banking Company then was here. My College and then my other coaching classes all have been in this area. I have many fond memories of this place. Once in a way I like to come here even if there is no work.

Nowadays the whole place is dug up due to the Metro construction project going on, and there is too much traffic congestion. I avoid coming here, but had some work so I thought of leaving early morning and finishing it. While walking around I saw this place called "The Bitcoin Lounge", I was not sure what it was. First I thought it must be some Financial Advisory office. Out of curiosity I went near the entrance and it was closed, then I checked the board again, there was no mention of restaurant there but there was a sign of Vegetarian and I realized that it was a Restaurant. The Lounge of course would mean a relaxing place, but nowadays people give any name to any place so you can never say.

I wanted to find out more, but since it was closed, I could not. After reaching home, I checked on google about this place. It had some good reviews. I was keen to know more about the payment modes, whether they were accepting Cryptos or they just went ahead with a fancy name to attract people. I could not find exact details. It does mention they accept digital payments, but there is no clarity if they accept Cryptos. Probably next time when I visit in the area I will try to find out.

I wish that people just do not get fascinated and attracted with the Themes but also adopt it because that's where it will make the real difference. Whenever something new comes up, people like to take advantage of it in some way or the other, that is ok, but the real essence of it should not be lost. Yes, but these types of promotion will also bring awareness to many people. It's a social influence. So hope that such influences continue and there is larger adaptability.

This time I did not get a chance to click pictures of this area, but next time I will do it and share with you all to see the charm of this place.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Bitcoin lounge! It must be related to Bitcoin. Otherwise why does the owner choose it name so? I think, it accepts Bitcoin. Or may be owner is a whale to hold btc and brought it exchanging it..😀😀

Just from looking at the building, I thought it was a financial advisory or consultation company lol. The owner is probably capitalizing on the trend with bitcoin by naming the place The Bitcoin Lounge. It will be a disservice if they don't accept crypto as a form of payment.

Yes, these days fancy names are given. Just last evening I saw a place called Hair Bar, it's a Saloon but now called a Bar, very confusing :-)

Ah, maybe they're trying to pivot into the bar business. Combining both doesn't seem to be a good match to me. They need more creative ideas in choosing a better name.

BTC should be an usual way to pay there. Otherwise the name is not matching.
It should be great to see HIVE as one of the accepted cryptos.
Thanks for sharing!

A restaurant that is called the Bitcoin Lounge. Some cities don't maintain their old building and it might be unfortunate for future generations.

These heritage structures are to be well preserved but for how long that is also a question. Some of them are in very poor condition

That really looks like a restaurant place especially if it is situated in a busy area. I also thought it was a financial advisory place upon seeing the image like you said, but I think it is more of a relaxing place.

Yes, it is confusing. Probably when it is open, it would be easy to identify
