It's becoming crazier by the day. Almost every OTT platform movie that I am watching these days has a twist of transgender. There is nothing wrong in it, but my point is why does it always have to be made looked different than normal. As education and awareness to masses, movies are a good way to project but then when you keep watching it in every movie it feels way too much hyped and keeps getting your attention to it all the time. It also makes it look like these are not normal things.

The other type of movies that I see is the extreme violence with foul language, they too are very common. Honestly it becomes difficult to watch an OTT movie sitting with a family, especially with children, you never know what surprise is waiting for you. There are just very few family movies that I find on these platforms, which you can see with all age groups. Else most of them have Sex, violence and lately the transgender twist.

This is one problem at hand and the other is the Social media influence. I was talking to my friend who has a teenage daughter and lately she has put on lot of weight. She has been indulging herself too much in junk food. When her mother says anything to her about her weight the daughter tells her that she should stop body shaming her. I come from an old school and I feel all this is crap, they see all these things on social media and then pass these messages to their parent. These kinds of promotions instigate children to do wrong things.

When people are obsessed due to medical conditions it is understandable and I completely empathize with their situation. But when someone gets obese due to lack of self-care, eating wrong foods, over eating and not maintaining healthy lifestyle then I do not like to hear such statements from them. I believe that they are just making excuses to continue with their toxic lifestyle and on top of that all these advertising campaigns on social media encourage them like my friend's daughter.

Social media is a big influencer on today's generation. Specially the younger generation, they follow the trends and try to copy them in their real life whether they are good or not good. And with time this will only get bad. At school children are taught that if there is any force from their parents they should complain. My friend's 9-year-old son, one day tells her while she was angry on him, saying mummy if you say anything to me, I will complain to the police.

Parenting has really become the most difficult and challenging job these days. When kids are very young, they still listen to their parents but as they grow up, they think that now my parents cannot say anything to me and then they have all these influences from their peers, school and social media. Even if the parent does not allow them at home, they do find their means outside to watch with their friends.
Honestly these days majority of the children I find them at extremes, either they are very sensible or they are completely blown apart. Who knows what the time ahead will bring and 10 years down the line how crazy these things will be.
