Value the People we have in our Life
When people leave us forever we feel a deep void in our life but when they are alive we just take our relationship very casually with them and take it all for granted as if we are going to live forever. Life has it's own plan and it keeps putting us to test all the time with our relationships. My friend who passed away yesterday, she had cordial relationships with almost everyone and she always made that extra effort to keep in touch with her friends and that's what made her special in so many ways.
For me, I am the one who cannot stay connected all the time with my friends. Life gets busy and I get so involved in my work that I am not mindful about checking up on people on regular basis. It's not that I do not care for them. But this phone thing never works for me. I cannot keep messaging and calling people regularly. My mom also complaints sometimes that this is one space of my life where I am not mindful and I need to stay connected with people more often then what I do it now.
Yesterday when I was at my friend's funeral I saw there were lot of people, the room had got packed and that only made me understand how much she was loved by everyone and I am sure with her attitude of always reaching out to people she must be closely connected to all of these people just like how she was with me. This is what we take with us at the end, only love and blessing of people who we cross paths in our life time, else everything else is unnecessary and holds no value. She will always be remembered as a kind and a loving soul and that's what makes her life worth it. To love and to be loved are the biggest blessings of life.

That's really true. We take the people in our lives for granted until we lose them to death. The same thing happened when my mom passed away. We need to value and connect more with people in our lives because we don't have all the time to do that. Sorry for the loss of your friend, I hope she rests in God's blossom.
