Monomad: A stop on an avenue - Street photography #36 [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

In one of my journeys doing street photography I found myself in an avenue crossing and it is something I have mentioned before, the amount of people and vehicles that can pass in a few minutes is sometimes incredible, but in this opportunity I decided to capture only people who were there.

En una de mis travesías realizando fotografías callejeras me encontré en un cruce de avenida y es algo que he mencionado antes, la cantidad de personas y vehículos que pueden pasar en algunos minutos a veces es increíble, pero en esta oportunidad decidí captar sólo a personas que se encontraban allí.

It never ceases to amaze me the difference that is always found in street photographs, even if they are in places that are always used, because each person who passes by there surely has some curious story to tell or some reason why he or she was there at that precise moment.

Nunca deja de sorprenderme la diferencia que siempre se encuentra en las fotografías callejeras, aunque estas sean en lugares que siempre se suelen utilizar, porque cada persona que allí transita seguro tiene alguna historia curiosa para contar o algún motivo por el cual se encontraba allí en ese preciso momento.

What I like most about these photographs is the contrast that can be seen between the black and white in the clothes of the people and the environment, making it possible to distinguish in some photographs the protagonists, such as the man you will see on the main cover.

Lo que más me gusta de estas fotografías es el contraste que se puede apreciar entre el blanco y negro en la ropa de las personas y con el entorno, haciendo que se pueda distinguir en algunas fotografías a los protagonistas, como lo es el señor que verán en la portada principal.
