1 Recientemente renové un viejo interés por la jardinería como aficionado al cultivo de flores, frutas y verduras fuera de mi casa. Puede que no ahorre mucho en mis gastos de comida, pero esto es más para satisfacción personal y para volver a aprender viejas habilidades. ¿Tienes un jardín? ¿O desearías tener uno? ¿Qué te gustaría cultivar en tu pequeño paraíso?
2¿Te gusta hacer compras de segunda mano? Comprar ropa usada y artículos útiles para el hogar es una forma práctica, económica y ecológica de vestirse a sí mismo y a su hogar. Y de vez en cuando haces ese "hallazgo" perfecto. Comparte con nosotros ese tesoro encontrado y ¿por qué fue perfecto?
Ahora bien, respondiendo la primera interrogante... Si tengo un pequeño jardín en dónde cultivo flores, al frente de mi casa tengo una hielera en dónde tengo matas de lirios y también tengo una pequeña mata de rosas pequeñas que son muy aromáticas y hermosas.

1 I recently renewed an old interest in gardening as a hobbyist growing flowers, fruits and vegetables outside my home. It may not save much on my food expenses, but this is more for personal satisfaction and to relearn old skills. Do you have a garden? Or do you wish you had one? What would you like to grow in your little paradise?
2Do you like to thrift shop? Buying used clothing and useful household items is a practical, economical and eco-friendly way to dress yourself and your home. And every once in a while you make that perfect "find." Share with us that found treasure and why was it perfect?
Now then, answering the first question.... I have a small garden where I grow flowers, at the front of my house I have a cooler where I have lily bushes and I also have a small bush of small roses that are very fragrant and beautiful.
La mata de rosas ya estaba en esta casa cuando la compramos (hace 1 año ya) y en todo este tiempo ha pasado por procesos de recuperación ya que ha sido victima de bachacos, asi que he dedicado parte de mi tiempo para cuidarla, la riego en las noches y en las mañana le agrego borra de cafe y cascaras de huevos trituradas para que sirva de abono. Debo decir que es muy relajante regarla y me emociona cada brote de nuevo retoño y cada rosita olorosa que nace de ella.
The rose bush was already in this house when we bought it (1 year ago) and in all this time it has gone through recovery processes since it has been victim of bachacos, so I have dedicated part of my time to take care of it, I water it at night and in the morning I add coffee grounds and crushed egg shells to serve as fertilizer. I must say that it is very relaxing to water it and I am thrilled with every new sprout and every fragrant rose that comes out of it.
También tengo las matas de lirios, tengo de dos tipos, unas hechan flores grandes color naranja y otras rosadas mas pequeñas, en este momento solo tiene flores la que tiene flores rosadas, duran pocos días pero su esplendor renueva mis fuerzas, sin embargo, la que mas he tenido que cuidar es a la de rosas.
I also have lily bushes, I have two types, some have large orange flowers and other smaller pink ones, at the moment only the one with pink flowers has flowers, they last a few days but their splendor renews my strength, however, the one that I have had to take care of the most is the one with roses.
También cultivamos plátanos, topochos, cambures en el patio de la casa, pero estás plantas frutales son tan generosas que solo estoy pendiente de abrir la manguera al menos por una hora al día, aunque mi esposo es quien se dedica más a su limpieza y cuidados.
Es muy satisfactorio comer de estos frutos cultivados en el propio patio de mi casa, definitivamente se siente muy bien comer el fruto de una mata que tú mismo has regado y cuidado día a día.
We also grow bananas, topochos, cambures in the backyard of our house, but these fruit plants are so generous that I only have to turn on the hose for at least an hour a day, although my husband is the one who is more dedicated to their cleaning and care.
It is very satisfying to eat these fruits grown in my own backyard, it definitely feels good to eat the fruit of a bush that you have watered and cared for yourself day after day.

Love your garden, especially growing flowers, and taking good care of them is not so easy. I used to have an indoor garden and it needed a lot of care. Thanks for sharing your lovely gardening experience with us... Take care...
Gracias, si hay que cuidarlas todos los días, trato de usar abonos orgánicos para mantenerlas saludables aunque la sequía de estos días es fuerte.

I wish that I could grow bananas and plantains but my Canadian climate and soil is not very accommodating to tropical fruit and are available by importing them from overseas. My family loves bananas and various exotic fruit but not too often as they get expensive more often because of inflation. I also find much satisfaction and enjoyment in the exercise in cultivating my yard into a paradise. Thanks for posting @nakaryr 🌴🍌🌹

En este clima tropical es muy fácil tener estás plantas con pocos cuidados, aunque se ponen más lindas en la temporada de lluvias, mientras tanto hay que regarlas a diario.

Woow, acá en casa nos encanta el plátano y sería genial tener uno de esos árboles. Aparte de que es natural, no paso por ningún químico ni nada.

Hermosas tus plantas amiga, me imagino tienes un patio muy grande y está todo bello floreado 😍
Y esas plantas de cambures sin duda es maravilloso porque así ustedes degustan la comida de su propio cultivo!
Pero que bonito y satisfactorio es poder recoger y cosechar de la siembra que han realizado e invertido dedicación para que den sus frutos. Ame ese gran racimo detrás de ti jejeje quisiera tener algo así en el patio de mi casa pero es puro piso de concreto y me ha tocado en macetas sembrar algunos cactus y algunas de flores.
