Fluviário de Mora

Hello friends, I hope you are well 🙂 My weekend was amazing and I hope yours is amazing too. This weekend we came to celebrate my boyfriend's 28th birthday in Alentejo, Portugal. Today I come to show you one of the activities we did this weekend that he and I loved. Tickets for the Mora riverbank were for €7 but we wanted to visit a museum that opened last year, which was 6 minutes away and cost us another euro, so we took advantage 🙂

The Mora riverbank is located in the small village of Mora, in Alentejo. The fluviarium is close to the river and is a charming place where our visitors can enjoy nature and great facilities. It's great for those who like to explore with aquatic life

When I walked in, I felt calm. I felt that calmness of the water and the habitats were super colorful. Right when I entered I was studied with the different species that were there, the name of each species was written there in each habitat and a little about what they do. Each habitat was a separate world full of life and many mysteries ❤️

As I walk through the river I am thinking about how incredible and enchanting the animal world is. I learned a lot of things on this river, it was an incredible trip. With every step I took I saw a creature more beautiful than the other. It's so cool to see the variety of fish, the size, the colors, everything....

Some species had to be in the dark, others in the light. Some had to be in hot water, others in cold water. I love aquatic animals, I've always wanted to have two fish, but that opportunity hasn't come up yet, because if I had to, I had to have a big change where they could be happy and I don't have space in my house for such a diversion 🤣

The moment I liked most was the otters, they are super adorable animals. Feeding is given by the keepers and is at 10 am and 4 pm and I'm glad we were at the right time 🙂 I didn't take a photo of the otters because I was so fascinated watching them that I forgot to take photos. There was also a place where you could put a 50 cent coin and food would come out to give to the ducks, a good value since the river and animals only cost €7 and the animals also have to be fed and there are still plenty of them.

Throughout the visit I also had the opportunity to learn a little about the importance of preserving the aquatic ecosystem, I already valued it but it is always possible to learn new things 🙂 The river river is not a place of entertainment but rather a place of learning and environmental awareness . Great for kids too 🙂

I highly recommend visiting the Mora River, I'm sure you won't regret it 🙂

Olá amigos, espero que vocês estejam bem 🙂 Meu final de semana foi incrível e espero que o seu também seja incrível. Este fim de semana viemos comemorar o 28º aniversário do meu namorado no Alentejo, Portugal. Hoje venho mostrar para vocês uma das atividades que fizemos neste final de semana que ele e eu adoramos. Os bilhetes para a margem do rio Mora custavam 7€ mas queríamos visitar um museu que abriu no ano passado, que ficava a 6 minutos e nos custou mais um euro, por isso aproveitámos 🙂

A margem do rio Mora situa-se na pequena aldeia de Mora, no Alentejo. O fluviário fica próximo ao rio e é um local encantador onde nossos visitantes podem desfrutar da natureza e de ótimas instalações. É ótimo para quem gosta de explorar a vida aquática

Quando entrei, me senti calmo. Senti aquela calmaria da água e os habitats eram super coloridos. Logo quando entrei fui estudado com as diferentes espécies que ali existiam, o nome de cada espécie estava escrito ali em cada habitat e um pouco sobre o que elas fazem. Cada habitat era um mundo separado cheio de vida e muitos mistérios ❤️

Enquanto caminho pelo rio penso em como o mundo animal é incrível e encantador. Aprendi muitas coisas nesse rio, foi uma viagem incrível. A cada passo que dava via uma criatura mais linda que a outra. É tão legal ver a variedade de peixes, o tamanho, as cores, tudo....

Algumas espécies tinham que estar no escuro, outras na luz. Alguns tinham que estar em água quente, outros em água fria. Adoro animais aquáticos, sempre quis ter dois peixes, mas essa oportunidade ainda não apareceu, porque se fosse preciso, teria que fazer uma grande mudança onde eles pudessem ser felizes e não tenho espaço na minha casa para uma diversão dessas 🤣

O momento que mais gostei foram das lontras, são animais super adoráveis. A alimentação é dada pelos tratadores e é às 10h e às 16h e ainda bem que estávamos na hora certa 🙂 Não tirei foto das lontras porque fiquei tão fascinado a observá-las que me esqueci de tirar fotos. Havia também um local onde se podia colocar uma moeda de 50 cêntimos e saía comida para dar aos patos, um bom valor já que o rio e os animais custam apenas 7€ e os animais também têm de ser alimentados e ainda há bastante eles.

Ao longo da visita também tive a oportunidade de aprender um pouco sobre a importância da preservação do ecossistema aquático, já valorizei mas é sempre possível aprender coisas novas 🙂 O rio rio não é um local de diversão mas sim um local de aprendizagem e consciência ambiental. Ótimo para crianças também 🙂

Recomendo vivamente uma visita ao Rio Mora, tenho a certeza que não se vai arrepender 🙂
