Fitness: 30th November 2021 + A Did You Know Fitness Question

Good Morning

Today I was not an early riser but could find enough time for all my chores and exercises. Miracle!! 😊. I did step out in the morning, and it was pretty cool for this time of the month. I loved it, and that's my motivation for going for a run tomorrow.

By the way, on my articles, my daughter commented that she did not like the picture that I added. So, she helped select a picture which I bought on istock, and here it is in this article. Hmm.. she does have a good choice. :)

Moving back to my fitness regime, today my focus was on stress training and weights. Since I did find enough time, I could go on full throttle. So, how did my schedule look like?

I started with weights and followed the triplet form. The idea, as most would know by now, is to add three different body parts and exercise them as one set.

These were my triplets for the day:

  1. Arms
  2. Shoulder
  3. Back and Abs

Once I was done with the triplets, I gave some time for stress training. The first one was holding my dumbbells overhead in a shoulder extension form and maintaining the position for a minute and a half. Interestingly, doing it after the triplets makes it more difficult than if I had started with the stress training. Anyway, after that, I did the ten minutes walk holding the 25-kg dumbbells. The trick is to not keep the dumbbells down for the whole ten minutes, though I did keep it down once. 😊

After that, I had the Ho'oponopono sessions for the mind. For those wanting to learn more about Ho'oponoponoo, here is my write-up on the topic.

Have fun reading and practicing.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I will see you all tomorrow.

Namaste.

😊

Did You Know?

The record for the most step-ups with a 60 lb weight is held by Ron Cooper of Massachusetts, USA. Ron completed 60 step-ups in one minute. That's like one per second. Phew! He is also the holder of nine other records, which I had covered in my past articles.

These records may appear to be the same, but it is not. Do pay attention, and you will see that these are different ones. Ron holds more than 23 records, and we will be looking closely at each in the coming few days. If you wish, you can read more about Ron in this article.
