It is rare to hear of a therapist dealing with emotional conflicts, but there are... here is yours truly. Despite knowing the many tools to address all this, as the saying goes: "there is no worse patient than the doctor". You can identify all the triggers, everything that is going on and still not be able to apply the tools on you, for something is contraindicated.

I have been going through this situation for months now and it has gotten out of hand. I always go to bed with the idea that tomorrow will be a better day and that I will do many things, but the next morning, my brain resets and I start thinking "in a while I will do them, I am tired, I better distract myself playing for a while" and an infinite etcetera; until I realize that it is almost night and I have done absolutely nothing (besides walking from the bed to the pc). The most basic things like cooking, taking a bath, have become tormenting activities in which I spend hours thinking about whether I do it or not, and when I don't do them comes the self-punishment. Even writing, I always used to write about anything to distract my mind and feel better, it doesn't happen anymore; I start with an idea, then I don't like it and again I "take a break". I can spend all day in bed sleeping or watching videos and even though my body cripplingly screams at me to get up, I feel the heaviness from the strands of my hair to the tips of my toes.

Help... yes, seek help. I've written to dozens of specialists to schedule and I always make any excuse not to. Maybe that's what my exhaustion is all about, it all starts from my exhausted mind for not being able to get out of this situation. Sometimes I think, and I don't want to accept that this is so, but... I know and I have heard about people who get addicted to this disastrous feeling. I don't even bother to explain what happens to me anymore, I just let it happen to me and that's it, like a small stone in a river. The last time I wrote here, it was about not spending Christmas with the family, I didn't do it on the 31st either, according to me, to feel better and get away from the negativity... for nothing, because I still spent the whole day on the verge of anxiety and at night I was in a sea of tears because almost everyone reproached me for not going. Just remembering it already gives me a thousand palpitations per minute and tears come to my eyes.

I am not doing this with the intention of drawing attention to myself, my ego is so low at this point, that I can't even do that. It's just an attempt to let off some steam and try to adjust the crazy ideas running around in my head. I write a little to lighten the load on my shoulders (the bad posture is back) and "demechanize" my fingers from the same positions on my phone or on the keyboard of the pc to play, with the hope that in the course of the day I feel better and I can do something different without thinking about it so much or that it causes me annoyance or reluctance. I hope tomorrow will be a better day.
