🤐What they won't tell you | Squid Game (A LOT Criticism and Spoiler)
After a few weeks of pressure thanks to memes on the networks that I wanted to understand, I watched the series, 9 episodes in two days on my beautiful internet (note the sarcasm). Ok, the series.
Luego de unas semanas de presión gracias a los memes en las redes que quise entender, vi la serie, 9 capítulos en dos días por mi hermoso internet (nótese el sarcasmo). Ok, la serie.
⚠️I'm not going to describe what it's about, because at this point there are already many, many posts about it, I'll just give my opinion (I'll let the lion out of the cage)⚠️
⚠️No voy a describir de qué trata, porque a este punto ya hay muchísimas publicaciones al respecto, solo daré mi opinión (dejaré que el león salga de la jaula)⚠️
It created a love-hate feeling for me, I loved it for the insanity, the sadistic games, the gore (who didn't?), but I hated it immensely for the actual plot, the end goal, the uncertainty of so many things they left up in the air or maybe I didn't understand. For my conception, it's not acceptable that it was just because the Lord was bored and that's it, it seemed to me the most absurd thing in the world, although if we go to reality, it works like that and maybe that's what they wanted to show. Show? Yep. It's loaded with thousands of hidden messages and associations to the blessed secret societies, which makes me think that the series was an ode to them and to one of the hobbies of these elitists.
Me creó una sensación de amor-odio, la amé por la locura, los juegos sádicos, la sangre (¿a quién no?), pero la odié inmensamente por la trama real, el objetivo final, la incertidumbre de tantas cosas que dejaron al aire o que tal vez no entendí. Para mi concepción, no es aceptable que solo fuera porque el Señor estuviese aburrido y ya, me pareció la cosa más absurda del mundo, aunque si nos vamos a la realidad, si funciona así y a lo mejor eso fue lo que quisieron mostrar. ¿Mostrar? Sip. Está cargada de miles de mensajes ocultos y asociaciones a las benditas sociedades secretas, lo que me hace pensar que la serie fue una oda a ellas y a unos de los pasatiempos de estos elitistas.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, it was actually a sublime show but with a very worn out ending. Maybe a second season will come that will improve it (hopefully) and explain the gaps left in this first installment. But I'll be honest: I love the massacre, so in every game I was filled with adrenaline, fear and I even did strength as if I was another player, I imagined myself in those scenarios, that with how clumsy I am, I would have been eliminated just in Red Light, Green Light, then I won't lie saying that I didn't like it at all, even the hidden messages of references I liked, everything was very real, but as I said before, I can't stop having that bitter taste with the ending.
No digo que este bien o mal, en realidad fue una muestra sublime pero con un final muy gastado. A lo mejor venga una segunda temporada que lo mejore (ojalá) y expliquen los vacíos que dejaron en esta primera entrega. Pero seré sincera: amo la masacre, así que en cada juego me llené de adrenalina, miedo y hasta hice fuerza como si fuera una jugadora más, me imaginé en esos escenarios, que con lo torpe que soy, hubiese sido eliminada apenas en Luz Roja, Luz Verde, entonces no mentiré diciendo que no me gustó del todo, hasta los mensajes ocultos de referencias me gustaron, todo fue muy real, pero como dije anteriormente, no puedo dejar de tener ese amargo sabor con el final.
I mean, if the 456 was in debt up to no more power how come he was still alive after a year he signed the physical waiver, was it all in vain? Another absurdity for me was the unnecessary elimination of 67, his character was strong and intriguing, besides having a real and promising sense for a future development of a possible second season (because that's what they implied with that ending); which also brings me to Ali, if they were going to eliminate him like that, they wouldn't have created the character for that, he also had a potential development (besides that in the memes they made fun of him and I didn't understand what or why, but that's another case). The organ harvesting, aha, it was an internal act among the workers, why the double standard of the Chief when he discovered this "horrible act of abuse", they also didn't catch the other one who deleted the recordings and the Chief didn't go after him either. The Chief's brother, they also made him look unnecessary or like the character was not unwrapped enough; another thing that bothered me about the cop, was that they didn't take much care of the cell phone detail, I mean, with the battery, it went almost the six days without charging or discharging; the other thing was the signal, IT'S OBVIOUS that in a super secluded island THERE WILL BE NO SIGNAL, trying to send the evidences made the character look like a fool, the other thing: is he really dead? I think not.
O sea, si el 456 estaba endeudado hasta no más poder ¿cómo es que siguió con vida después de un año que firmó la renuncia física?, ¿todo fue en vano? Tampoco diré que el tipo se volvió loco por no querer gastar el dinero durante ese tiempo, ya que entró en una negación total y en un remordimiento de conciencia brutal. Otro absurdo para mí fue la eliminación tan innecesaria de 67, su personaje era fuerte e intrigante, además de tener un sentido real y prometedor para un futuro desarrollo de una posible segunda temporada (porque así dieron a entender con ese final); lo que me lleva también a Alí, si lo iban a eliminar así, para eso no hubieran creado el personaje, él también tenía un potencial desarrollo (además de que en los memes se burlaban de él y no entendí de qué o porqué, pero ese como que es otro caso). La extracción de órganos, ajá, fue un acto interno entre los trabajadores, ¿por qué la doble moral del Jefe cuando descubrió este “horrible acto de abuso”?, tampoco atraparon al otro que eliminaba las grabaciones y el Jefe tampoco fue tras él. El hermano del Jefe, también lo hicieron ver innecesario o como que el personaje no lo desenvolvieron lo suficiente; otra cosa que me molestó del policía, fue que no cuidaron mucho del detalle del celular, es decir, con la batería, pasó casi los seis días sin cargarse ni descargarse; lo otro fue la señal, ES OBVIO que en una isla súper apartada NO VA HABER SEÑAL, intentar enviar las evidencias hizo ver al personaje como un tonto, lo otro: ¿está muerto en realidad? Yo creo que no.
For many, the 456, being the protagonist of all this massacre, became the favorite of many (for me too, at first). If we get to analyze a little, he was a loser like the others, indebted to the last strand of hair but he was good people: he was super empathetic with his teammates, he helped them and suffered every loss, however he was an irresponsible father, he abused his mother and stole from her, he was a ludopath, he was a thoughtless guy with others, while playing with the number player he used his illness to win. But it was his life at risk, you will think and yes, you are right but remember clause 3? He could have used it at the time and more than half would have supported him. In the end, he goes back to his former life and after learning the truth, he does a makeover (unnecessary for me) but for what? He continued to be selfish and irresponsible with his daughter for going for revenge and we already know how that will end (besides the obvious second season). But, well, this has been my humble opinion, now I'd like to know yours, did you see any other gaps, any other criticism?
Para muchos, el 456, al ser protagonista de toda esta masacre, se convirtió en el favorito de muchos (para mí también, al principio). Si nos ponemos a analizar un poco, él era un perdedor como los demás, endeudado hasta el último mechón de cabello pero ¡era buena gente!: era súper empático con los compañeros, los ayudaba y sufría cada pérdida sin embargo era un padre irresponsable, abusaba de su madre y le robaba, era un ludópata, era un tipo desconsiderado con los demás, mientras jugaba con el jugador número usó su enfermedad para ganar. Pero estaba su vida en riesgo, pensaran y si, tienen razón pero ¿recuerdan la cláusula 3? Pudo usarla en ese momento y más de la mitad lo hubiese apoyado. Al final, vuelve a su vida anterior y tras conocer la verdad, hace un cambio de look (innecesario para mi) pero ¿para qué? Siguió siendo un egoísta e irresponsable con su hija por ir a buscar venganza y ya sabemos cómo terminara eso (además de la obvia segunda temporada). Pero, bueno, esta ha sido mi humilde opinión, ahora me gustaría saber la de ustedes, ¿vieron algún otro vacío?, ¿alguna otra crítica?

Aunque no he visto la serie aún he visto muchas críticas respecto a su final. Respecto al post, me gustó mucho como expusiste sus puntos positivos y aquellos que no lo eran tanto.

anoche intente ver el primer episodio, después de un tiempo diciendo que no la voy a ver, y pues, el archivo no se quiso reproducir, lo tome como una señal de que continué sin verla. XD Así que con esta serie, sigo en el limbo. Ya me la se , sin haberla visto. Segunda temporada, aunque Netflix quiere apurar el asunto, el creador dijo que se tomara su tiempo.
Es una señal muy clara, así que hazle caso jajaja. Si me preguntan si la recomendaría, mi respuesta sería un rotundo NO a menos que la quieras ver por solo pasar el rato. Creo que hay mejores producciones con mensajes más claros.
