What was the worst punishment you received from your parents? What was it, why did it happen and how did you learn (or not learn) from it? Remember to use your own

Greetings to all the hives that make life in this community @weekend experiences, grateful to the friend @galenkp for the suggestions of the topics, it really came to my memory the memory dw that night, which I will tell you next.
I come from a large family of 12 siblings, our upbringing was based on full Christian and moral principles and values, especially my mom is a woman of temper and strong character, what she said was law at home and whoever did not comply paid the consequences of the error 😱, I assume that was so perhaps because of the upbringing she was given as a child, or because of the life she led that was not easy. At home there were rules and regulations to follow, one of them was not to come home late after a certain time at night hahaha, today I laugh but that day it wasn't like that.

Between laughter, jokes, jokes, some nice guys arrived, they took us out to dance, the time went by and without realizing it, we were dancing. When I realized it was 11:30 at night, for a moment I was nervous and at the same time confident. I left that place like Cinderella running and leaving the boy dancing alone hahahaha. When I got to the house everything was closed, the lights were off and when I knocked my mom through the half open window she told me: this is not the time to come home; therefore you will have to sleep in the yard, she did not allow anyone to open, it was horrible to spend a whole night sitting outside the house, cold and afraid, waiting for dawn to break until 6 six in the morning when she let me in, without first calling my attention, from that moment on I was never late, I learned that the rules are not violated are fulfilled, especially the respect for my mom's teaching.
This was an experience that I still remember and do not think I will forget, a life lesson from our parents.

I invite you to stop by and read my post, the image is my property and the translator and use is Deepl.

Oh wow, a whole night sleeping in the yard! I feel like older generations had very specific punishments; ones that would make us really listen the second time around. Your mom reminds me of mine so much! 😆 I remember once we were having dinner (winter time), my brother and I couldn't stop laughing for some reason. My mom was super irritated so in the middle of supper, she told us to go on the balcony and locked the balcony door 🤣 I laugh about it now but it wasn't my favourite experience back then 😆

Greetings friend, the parents in the old days were very strict, my mother spoke to us with her eyes and we had to obey, otherwise she knew what awaited us. Now of course we remember it and it makes us laugh, but at that time I felt more like panic. thanks for taking a look at my post.
