I was rehearsing several songs that tempted me to interpret them on this occasion, but I got "muchacha ojos de papel" (Paper eyes girl) by the great Luis Alberto Spinetta and I could not resist, I immediately connected with her and her beautiful lyrics. The song is a very beautiful creation of poetry, with quite interesting chords, not to mention that this is a great classic of "almendra", Luis Alberto Spinetta's band back in the 60s.

The song seems like a declaration of love, a kind of rock ballad made up of beautiful poetry, unprecedented love and a very beautiful vision of that girl. I know that el flaco Spinetta also impregnated a quite sincere intention of love and passion in this musical theme, in spite of the fact that in some occasions he wanted to give the lyrics an explanation of possessive, obsessive, macho and selfish love; it is the irony of some works. The vision of a selfish love is something quite interesting, I guess it is an inability or a confusion that is generated at the level of emotional irresponsibility, which leads to a dangerous position for oneself and others. Talking about this in a song that conveys such beauty is great.

For me it is a pleasure to be able to interpret this music so great and with so much style, Argentine Rock and Spanish Rock in general is great and, even, the songs turn out to be in many occasions a school of learning for composition, both at the level of writing and writing. Luis Alberto Spinetta is a little more jazz than Cerati, I have heard some of his songs that sound really complex with all those changes and chords, the interesting thing is how he gave shape, brightness and sense to that level of creation.

Estuve ensayando varias canciones que me te tentaron para interpretarlas en esta ocasión, pero me llegó "muchacha ojos de papel" (Paper eyes girl) del gran Luis Alberto Spinetta y no me pude resistir, enseguida me conecte con ella y su hermosa la letra. La canción es una creación de poesía muy hermosa, con acordes bastante interesantes, sin mencionar que este es un gran clásico de "almendra", la banda de Luis Alberto Spinetta por ahí en los 60.

La canción parece una declaración de amor, una especie de balada rock compuesta por una hermosa poesía, un amor sin precedentes y una visión muy bella de aquella muchacha. Se que el flaco Spinetta también impregnó una intención de amor y pasión bastante sincera en este tema musical, a pesar de que en alguna ocasión le quisiera dar a la letra de la misma una explicación de amor posesivo, obsesivo, machista y egoísta; es la ironía de algunas obras. La visión de un amor egoísta es algo bastante Interesante, supongo que es una incapacidad o una confusión que se genera a nivel de irresponsabilidad emocional, lo que lleva a una posición peligrosa para uno y los demás. Hablar de esto en una canción que transmite tanta belleza es genial.

Para mi es un placer poder interpretar esta música tan genial y con tanto estilo, el Rock argentino y en español en general es genial e, incluso, las canciones resultan ser en muchas ocasiones una escuela de aprendizaje para la composición, tanto a nivel de escritura como de escritura. Luis Alberto Spinetta es un poco más jazz que Cerati, he escuchado algunas canciones de el que suenan realmente complejas con todos esos cambios y acordes, lo interesante es como le daba forma, brillo y sentido a ese nivel de creación.
