Creo que hoy fue la semana de Gustavo Cerati, ya que había hecho un cover para el hive Music festival de este mismo artista. Volví a escuchar el álbum "ahí vamos" y me di cuenta que una de mis canciones favoritas de Cerati pertenecía a dicho álbum: "Jugo de luna" (Moon Juice) una canción que escuche mucho durante la cuarentena con el poco internet que lograba agarrar en donde vivía en aquel entonces.

Esta canción tiene un estilo brutal, me encanta porque se compone de partes con mucha tensión y seriedad, al mismo tiempo con partes con el motivo principal que le dan un toque más melódico, dulce e inspirador, creo que eso es algo que resalta, más que todo, en la versión original, ya que esta tiene sus sonidos de sintetizadores que le dan un toque especial.

Algo que mencioné en el último post de una canción de Cerati que hice, fue que este era un álbum con bastante contenido sexual, la gran mayoría de canciones hacen referencia a encuentros llenos de pasión y deseos amorosos íntimos. Por ejemplo, esta canción habla del sexo oral, si, aunque no lo creas, empieza describiendo de forma muy poética a la luna y un cuarto sin gravedad donde se desarrollan los hechos, y el jugo de luna creo que es el fluido vaginal de las mujeres en su estado de excitación. Esto se confirma cuando Cerati dice en una frase de la canción: "cuando arqueas el cuerpo, y mi lengua roza tu profundo manantial". Bueno, espero que no te hayas sentido incómodo al haber leído esto, somos adultos xD.

Algo muy interesante de esta canción es uno de sus versos que dice: "En una gota cabe el universo". No sé si Gustavo leyó algún libro hindú para inspirarse y escribir esto o fue pura creatividad, pero según el Vaishnavismo, los infinitos universos materiales que emanan de los poros de Maha Vishnu tienen forma de gota, así que si, en una gota cabe el universo. Tal vez Gustavo se refería también a los micro universos que pueden estar dentro de una gota de agua común, ya que ahí también hay un ecosistema, pero no tanto como un universo inmenso.

I think today was Gustavo Cerati's week, since I had done a cover for the hive Music festival of this same artist. I went back to listen to the album "ahí vamos" and I realized that one of my favorite songs of Cerati belonged to that album: "Jugo de luna" (Moon Juice) a song that I listened to a lot during my forties with the little internet that I managed to grab where I lived at that time.

This song has a brutal style, I love it because it is composed of parts with a lot of tension and seriousness, at the same time with parts with the main motif that give it a more melodic, sweet and inspiring touch, I think that is something that stands out, more than everything, in the original version, since this one has its synthesizer sounds that give it a special touch.

Something I mentioned in the last post about a Cerati song I did, was that this was an album with a lot of sexual content, the vast majority of songs make reference to encounters full of passion and intimate love desires. For example, this song talks about oral sex, yes, believe it or not, it starts describing in a very poetic way the moon and a gravity-less room where the events take place, and the moon juice I believe is the vaginal fluid of women in their state of arousal. This is confirmed when Cerati says in a phrase of the song: "when you arch your body, and my tongue brushes your deep spring". Well, I hope you didn't feel uncomfortable reading this, we are adults xD.

Something very interesting about this song is one of its verses that says: "In a drop fits the universe". I don't know if Gustavo read some Hindu book to get inspired to write this or it was pure creativity, but according to Vaishnavism, the infinite material universes that emanate from the pores of Maha Vishnu are drop-shaped, so yes, in a drop fits the universe. Perhaps Gustavo was also referring to the micro universes that can be inside a drop of common water, since there is also an ecosystem there, but not as much as an immense universe.
