Hello to all friends. May God bless you wherever you are.

Today I am at your service by introducing a historical monument

The site of Bandian Museum, located in the city of Sekont Man, is one of the largest plaster casts found from the Sassanid era. The works carved on the walls of Bandian's fire temple represent pages of history. In addition to the fire temple, there are industrial workshops, religious structures and silence towers in this complex.

The photo I uploaded in the first post is the entrance to this museum. In the following, before the explanations, I will share with you from several angles, from inside the museum.

Many years ago, around 1369 AH, during the leveling of agricultural land in one of the villages near the city, this historical monument was discovered and it has been excavated since 1373, and for several years now, with the help of the Cultural Heritage Organization, the first site was discovered. It has become Iran's tourism museum. This site is an expressive and important document for the architecture and art of the Sasanian era, and upon entering this museum, you can completely smell the art and history of Ahdadi.

Sassanids built many cities in their time and wherever these works are discovered, it is a sign of their power and authority.

The works discovered in Bandian are in an area of four hectares. This building is a hall whose roof is placed on four plaster columns. In the price of the hall, there is a space as a mihrab, with five inscriptions in Sasanian script written on their plaster bodies.

Next to the altar, there is a room of gifts and vows. From inside this room, a number of seal effects on clay balls have been obtained. These bullets have mythological seals with side lines.

In a corner, I reach a four-by-four fire pit with a beautiful fire pit. which is clearly visible in the photos.

At the end of the hall there is a door where the worshipers used to gather and watch the ceremonies next to the fireplace. On your side of the fire temple, there was a large room with plaster studs on three sides, each of which had a valve.

Mythological figures such as cows, snakes, scorpions and hunting scenes were seen on the studs. In the east of the fire temple, the purification room can be seen.

Around the hall, there are stucco paintings with hunting scenes, victory scenes, religious scenes of Anahita, the goddess of abundance and flowing waters, and scenes of the introduction of important people of the Sassanid era, as well as coronation scenes.

By going around and turning in this place, I was thinking. First, I was interested in the customs, beliefs, and work of the past, and after that, I was very interested in the historians and all those who tried to discover and record this beautiful collection and history. The expert and the official of the General Department of Cultural Heritage of the province considered Bandian Museum as the most valuable historical works and did their best to register this historical monument. And in my opinion, this site and museum should be registered globally.

Every year and on many days and holidays, this museum is welcomed by many Iranian and foreign tourists.

In other ways, the discovery of this historical monument had created employment for many young people. Outside this museum and at the beginning of the entrance of this complex, there were exhibitions and shops of handicrafts and traditional crafts, and many people visited this area to buy handicrafts.

Wood crafts, dyeing of ceramic items, knitting, etc. can be seen in the collection, and some sellers were sitting in local clothes.

Next to the entrance door, there was a beautiful purple bush that attracted me and I unconsciously took pictures from several angles.

I hope you have traveled with me to the Sassanid era and enjoyed seeing these extracted historical works. With a little thought and delay, you can be immersed in this work. I wish you days full of excitement and happiness and I am proud and happy to be in your company.

I took all these photos with my Galaxy A32 mobile phone.
