Catching Sunsets

• My hobby is one that you can do every day.
• You don't need to spend much money because it is free.
• You do not need special tools
• Just you and your eyes.

I pick up this routine when I moved to Bali, in 2020, and it seems like an easy thing to do living in this marvelous place and being so close to the beach, but it is actually quite hard sometimes.

Once you settle and the “tourist” face ends you have a routine, do things every day, make plans, or simply you are tired and don't want to leave home.

It seems simple, but there are many things around going to “catch the sunset”:
Need to find friends to go with, because such a beautiful thing should be shared.

Although, going alone is kinda therapeutic, it is just you watching the day die and the night rise.

It can clear your mind, give you ideas, or just simple comfort you. I know it has done it for me.

When you are with friends; great, deep, meaningful conversations can come up. Always jokes and endless laughs are present, and having a nice drink can hurt.

I love to have “sunset dates” because you can know so much about a person during that time.
It is, like the dying of the sun, brings a true light on the other person.
And, if things don’t go like you were expecting, you can just simply go back home alone.

So, if you are in a place where you can see this priceless act of nature, just go. Don’t overthink it. Open your window, go to the top of your building, and enjoy.

Perseguir Atardeceres

• No necesita gastar mucho dinero porque es gratis.
• No necesita herramientas especiales
• Solo tú y tus ojos.
  Mi pasatiempo es "Perseguir Atardeceres"

Tomé esta rutina cuando me mudé a Bali, en 2020, y parece algo fácil de hacer al vivir en este maravilloso lugar y estar tan cerca de la playa, pero en realidad es bastante difícil a veces.

Una vez que te acomodas y la etapa de "turista" termina, tienes que optar por una rutina, haces cosas todos los días, haces planes o simplemente estás cansado y no quieres salir de casa.

Parece simple, pero hay muchas cosas alrededor para "atrapar la puesta de sol".

Necesitas encontrar amigos con quienes ir, porque una cosa tan hermosa debe ser compartida. Aunque ir solo es un poco terapéutico, solo eres tú viendo morir el día y nacer la noche.

Puede despejar su mente, darte ideas o simplemente consolarte. Sé que lo ha hecho por mí.

Cuando estás con amigos, pueden surgir conversaciones geniales, profundas y significativas. Siempre hay bromas y risas interminables, y tomar una buena copa puede ayudar un poco más.

Me encanta tener “citas de puesta de sol" porque puedes saber mucho sobre una persona durante ese tiempo. Es como si la muerte del sol, trae una luz verdadera sobre la otra persona.
Y, si las cosas no salen como esperabas, puedes simplemente regresar a casa solo.

Entonces, si estás en un lugar donde puedes ver este invaluable acto de amor de la naturaleza, solo ve. No lo pienses demasiado. Abre la ventana, o ve a la parte superior de tu edificio y disfruta.
