You are back, and it is like you are not here.
I can not tell if I miss you more or less,
because you are not here.
I keep knowing from you because of social media

You keep distance because you need space.
It is like I am a disease and you must stay safe.

Time has passed.
And, I can barely tell if the last time I saw you,
was yesterday or last summer

I don't know if you will come back
if your absence will remain.

I don't know what your grand gesture meant.
Showing up at my front door doesn't make any sense,
if you are not going to come inside and stay.

Stay where you are and do not come back,
until you are ready to stay.

You know my terms, you know what I am about.
You know what I want, and how I want it.

You are back, and it is like you are not here.

Having someone who is physically present yet emotionally detached is so difficult. I would rather not have that person around. hahah Anyway, great poem! :)

Oooooft! I felt this one. This is beautiful and painful all at once. It reminds me of a story our sister, @riverflows wrote about a month ago. And it serves as a reminder to me, yet again, that when we feel such pain inside of ourselves that sometimes the most healing thing we can do is to express it in words and share it with others.
