Forgiveness is a sign of maturity
Believe it or not been able to finally let go of a wrong doing to be able to forgive your offender is a great sign you have matured on many levels. There are so many ways to kill a cat and whiles some people have to go through the rocky path to find their growth, for others it just comes to them.
The truth is, is awfully difficult to forgive someone who hurt you, especially when that someone is a dear one, some you loved and trusted, someone you never expected that from. This makes the feeling more a less a betrayal and when one feels betrayed there is always the strong urge to take revenge.
But keeping this on your conscience is a very great burden to bear, not that you are at fault or anything, if anything you deserved to be vexed because you have been offended right? But do you realize everything you meet this person, your heart skips a beat or it pumps into tarchycardia? It is having lots of negative implications on you without realizing and the more you keep this with you, the more you remain stagnant.
There are many who can attest to the fact that holding back on letting some of these things go and forgiving their wrongdoers has destroyed their new relationships and a whole lot. Forgiveness is not only biblical, because it applies to every aspect of our lives. So this is what i leave you with, learn to forgive and forget. You will grow faster without someone holding you down like that.
