Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. Recently, I visited a church in a town near Medellín called San Antonio de Prado, which is about a 50-minute drive from Medellín. Churches always have something very unique, and I dare say that their architecture is quite different from that of other buildings in any city around the world.
Hola a todos espero se encuentren muy bien, hace poco estuve visitando una iglesia en un pueblo cerca a Medellín llamado San Antonio de Prado queda mas o menos a unos 50 minutos de Medellín en auto, las iglesias siempre tienen algo muy particular y es que su arquitectura es muy diferente a la de los demás edificios de cualquier ciudad en el mundo me atrevería a decir.

This particular church showcases two types of architecture: Spanish and Italian. You may wonder why there are two different styles. The Spanish architecture is a result of the colonial period, while the Italian influence comes from later repairs and modifications. That's why you can see different types of roofs in this church, even though it is a single building.
Esta iglesia en particular tiene dos tipos de arquitectura una española y otra italiana, ustedes se preguntaran porque dos tipos de arquitectura, primero la española se debe a la colonia y la italiana a reparaciones posteriores, por eso es que los techos que muestro en esta publicación son diferentes estando en una misma iglesia.
