Backyard gardening is part of my life
Hello fellow folks,
Today is Sunday and my rest day, as I woke up early this morning and decided to visit my little backyard vegetable garden. Inorder to sprinkle it with water and also check the condtion, because the temperature in the Philippines was very hot, so vegetables really needs enough water inorder to survived. Then inspiration also to take a photograph of my backyard gardening.
And I was really amazed because my squash vegetables produces already a fruit flower buds on the stem and hiding on the leaves. Which the leaf and stem looks so green and healthy, whereas in propagating these kind of vegetables really needs some time and effort, because all I have to do was to sprinkle it with water everyday, removing it some wild grass and nurturing of it.
It is perfectly growing it's fruit flower and looks so beautiful because of it's yellow-orange color, the stem and vines perfectly also to develop inorder to crawl on the soil and twigs. Which add it's beautifulness because it's flower buds started to occur and hiding under it's leaves which is a sign that it is ready to produce a fruit.
And it was really a good attraction to the eyesight. Which gives a cooling effect and relaxation to the eyesight due to it's green leaves, which is this natural green leaves color is the best medicine to the eyeballs.
Watering into it and inspired also to make a trellis for my squash vegetables which started already to crawl and hanging above to higher level of the soil. And inorder to support it and avoid it's stem from broken so it was needed to be supported with some twigs of the trees. Which I immediately cut some old twigs of the trees to serve as a post and a girder, then dig a four holes on the soil on the four corner of the trellis inorder to make a foundation for the post of my trellis. Then get some scrap galvanized iron wires to kept it tight and as a tie inorder to hold to the twigs. It's because squash vines really needs some enough space above levels of the soil, inorder to have a proper place for it's fruit so that it is perfectly grown.
So this is it my homesteading activities in the house, having an inspiration to read my backyard gardening blog.

Great, your beautiful efforts are coming to great success. To be honest, this scene and effort has always been considered great by me. Because I myself try to produce various things in the home garden. The joy of growing vegetables with your own hands at your own home is different. You have flowers blooming and small sweet pumpkins too, hopefully a great harvest this time.
Backyard garden is reallly helpful for us, which it saves a money because we don't need to buy vegetables for our consumption. So that is why how I am eager to plant a variety in the house.
