A thrilling trek to Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash (5127m) Part-2

Hello hive family. I hope you all are well. So today I am going to share the further journey of Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash with you all.

As you all must have read in the previous post, we spent the night pitching a tent near the waterfall.
As soon as the morning came, the first thing we did was take stock of the road which was closed due to landslide. The local people were more concerned about the road than us because it was the only road through which people went to office and children went to school. On reaching the landslide site, it was found that the JCB machine had not reached there yet. Local people called the driver of the JCB machine, the driver said that it would take some time to reach.

Till then we go to our tent and have breakfast and pack our tent and luggage. While packing the luggage, we hear the sound of the machine and we walk towards our car with the luggage.
The machine removes the debris from the road and we proceed in the car and the tires of our car get stuck in the debris. Then a person from the village tells us that only 4×4 vehicles will go from here onwards, you park your car here. And come with me in my car, I will take only Rs 2000. That person said this. Somehow we convinced him for Rs 1500. The person parks our car at a safe place.
Now we sit in the man's car, a Belaro Camper 4×4.
In 2 hours he drops us at Sarpara from where our journey to Kailash begins, it starts raining and he wishes us good luck.
We buy food from a nearby shop and pack our bags well with plastic and rain covers.
We start walking in the name of God. The rain has also increased heavily and it became evening while we were moving and it became dark by the time we reached the forest. Instead of pitching the tent, we all decided to walk ahead and due to the rain we all got completely drenched. After walking continuously for 5 hours, we cross the forest and reach the field and pitch our tent. We have 2 tents. One tent for two and one for three. In one tent we had kept our wet clothes and in the other tent we were all lying down and it was raining heavily. Tired, we somehow make Maggi and sleep comfortably.
The rain also stops as soon as the morning comes. As soon as I open the zip of the tent and feel myself amidst the clouds, the view is so amazing that all my tiredness goes away. The huge mountains visible through the clouds are so beautiful that I fall in love with mountains all over again. I wake up my friends from sleep and they also become happy seeing the beauty of the mountains. The clouds are clearing from the sky and we have breakfast with tea and rice.

We decided that we will keep our luggage in this tent and return here after having darshan of Shivalinga.
After some time we see the sun and our life comes alive. As soon as the sun sets, I get a chance to take out my camera and now I capture the beauty of this place in my camera while walking.
After walking continuously for 2 hours, we reach Shepard's camp. The name of this place is Majbon, the altitude here is about 4500 meters.

theses flowers are found above the height of 4000m

blue poppy

We still had a long way to go, so we didn't stay here for long. Now we are at an altitude of about 4500 meters and our walking speed has also reduced. While walking, I show them Mount Kailash from a distance. Which was visible very closely. As soon as we saw Kailash, all our fatigue went away and the weather also supported us. Somehow we reach Shrikhand Kailash 5127.

Since we do not have much time, we feel the peace and mountains there for some time and also pray to God. The views here are so beautiful that I cannot describe them in words. There is a different feeling in this place and its atmosphere which draws me here every year. Due to paucity of time we bid goodbye to this place and head back towards our tent. the return journey is downhill, we reach our tent in 2:30 hours and pack the tent and head back towards Sarpara village from where we came by car.

I hope you have also enjoyed this journey through my blog. Thank you all for your love in Part 1
