Animales hechos con cucharas plásticas.// Animals made with plastic spoons........Esp-Eng

For a long time the idea of recycling was mostly to keep the environment clean, to sell the recycled material, but then another use was found, which for many people has become a source of extra income, because you can create many things from recycled materials and with the support of the Internet, through images or videos recycling has become an art, it can be done from the smallest to the adults, in schools, communities and universities.

I am not very given to arts and crafts, but I'm trying, so I made this small but interesting craft, because if there is a teacher in this hive, they will like this idea, it is very easy, it does not require a lot of material, but if you put a lot of desire.

If those are some little animals that I made with big plastic spoons, that are thrown away a lot after a party, many people wash them and reuse them for the next party heh heh, they are also used, just be the ones from their houses, not from the streets.

I thought they were a rabbit and a chick, but my brother last night said it was a cat that I thought was a rabbit, but it really looks like a cat, well it was born a kitten ha ha.

The materials for these little animals:

  • Large plastic spoons preferably white, I don't know if there are other colors.

  • Black marker.

  • Gun and silicone sticks.

  • White, red and small pieces of foami.

  • Scissors, pencil, something to make circles, satin ribbons.

  • Recycled sheet of paper.

P1280985.JPG

The step by step process is very similar for both.

1.- We draw so many circles we are going to use in this case 4, two for each animal. We mark in the foami also the ears, this is the white foami, with the red one that can be a patch, as I had frosted red, there mark the crest, beak and bow of the chick.

P1280987.JPG

2.- While we mark the pieces and cut out the pieces we heat the silicone gun.

3,. Now I have the pieces cut out, I proceed to make the little animals, the rabbit or cat, in what I would call the neck of the spoon, there I make the loop with the red ribbon to prevent it from rolling or falling, I put silicone dots and make the loop.

image.png

4.- We take two circles, place one under the spoon and under the bow, in the middle we put silicone to glue the spoon, then above it to glue the other circle and finally we put silicone on the contour to glue both circles. Then the ears.

image.png

5.- The final part is to paint the face of the kitten, with the black marker, eyes, mouth and whiskers. Then the taquitos, these are small circles of foami that we make with a hole punch or hole openers, this is very good to make many with scraps of foami and have them saved.

image.png

6 .- We finished the rabbit, let's go with the chick.

7.- With the recycled sheet of paper we draw a rectangle of 12 cm by 4 cm, we fold it and on the edge we make some waves, with the pencil that we then cut this is for the wings of the chick. Once this is done, we look for the remaining foami circles, we fold them so that it is like a mark that indicates the middle, we place on top of one of them the leaf that are the wings, then the spoon, then the other circle, with silicone. Then we look for the little beak, bow and crest of the chick, we glue it, and then paint his face with black marker in this case only the eyes and so we have the chick.

image.png

image.png

9.- After I saw them I liked them more as I saw them in the example heh heh. I hope that you also like it a lot and you can do it, as I said easy, simple and without spending a lot.

It even occurred to me that they would be very ideal to create other animals as for a puppet theater.
