That is why on this occasion I want to join once again a new initiative starting the month of August with a feeling that many know as basic and that can be both pleasant and unpleasant, everything depends on the circumstance, but the truth is that everyone we have experienced it at some point and it is part of our lives because The Surprise can happen anywhere.
Hermoso y bendecido día para todos, en especial para esta gran comunidad que nos brinda un espacio para hablar sobre nuestros sentimientos y emociones basados en nuestras experiencias y vivencias. Es por eso que en esta ocasión quiero unirme una vez más a una nueva iniciativa iniciando el mes de agosto con un sentimiento el cual mucho conocen como básico y que puede ser tanto agradable como desagradable todo depende de la circunstancia, pero lo cierto es que todos lo hemos experimentado en algún momento y forma parte de nuestra vida pues La Sorpresa puede ocurrir en cualquier lugar.
Surprise an unexpected feeling // Sorpresa un sentimiento inesperado
Surprise is an unexpected feeling, it is not something that is planned that we are going to feel and it is considered a basic emotion of the human being, all of us have been surprised at some time in life, it is something very natural and is not limited only to the surprise that we can cause the actions of another person because we can be surprised by any event that causes us amazement, everything will depend on whether it is negative or positive. Well, we usually associate it with something positive, but that is not the case.
Many times when we are surprised we experience many other feelings such as joy, satisfaction and love but when this surprise is negative we can also feel sadness, pain or anguish. Throughout my life I have had several surprises, many of happiness and others of pain, but I have always thought that everything is part of the experience and growth and this will make me a better person.
La sorpresa es un sentimiento inesperado, no es algo que este planificado que vayamos a sentir y se considera una emoción básica del ser humano, todos alguna vez en la vida nos hemos sorprendido es algo muy natural y no se limita solo a la sorpresa que te pueda causar las acciones de otra persona pues podemos sorprendernos de cualquier suceso que para nosotros nos cause asombró, todo va a depender si este es negativo o positivo. Pues solemos asociarlo siempre con algo positivo pero no es el caso.
Muchas veces al sorprendernos experimentamos muchos otros sentimientos como alegría, satisfacción y amor pero cuando esta sorpresa resulta negativa tambien podemos sentir tristeza, dolor o angustia. A lo largo de mi vida me he llevado varias sorpresa muchas de dicha y otras de dolor pero siempre he pensado que todo forma parte de la experiencia y el crecimiento y esto me hará mejor persona.
What surprising positive and negative event has marked your life?
¿Qué suceso sorpresivo positivo y negativo ha marcado tu vida?
I recently went through a bad time and I couldn't find any out of it. My son's medical expenses are really big and I started to get desperate. I remember that I was looking for a job and decided to submit several resumes. There was a place where many people told me not to waste time there. Well, first they are very demanding and second everyone who enters is with the help of those who are already part of the team. I thought it doesn't matter, it's just because I don't stop delivering it here and that's how it was a week later they called me and interviewed me, what is my surprise that after a few days they tell me that I'm going to start being part of the team and I'm hired. This has been a positive surprise that made me completely happy and made me feel proud and full of hope.
Hace poco atravesé un mal momento y no encontraba salido alguna los gastos médicos de mi Hijo son realmente grandes y empecé a desesperarme recuerdo que estaba en busca de trabajo y decidí entregar varios currículum, había un lugar donde muchas personas me dijeron no pierdas el tiempo allí pues primero son muy exigentes y segundo todo el que entra es con ayuda de los que ya forman parte del equipo. Pensé no importa solo es por no dejar de entregarlo aquí y así fue a la Semana me llamaron y me entrevistaron, cual es mi sorpresa que a los días me dicen que voy a empezar a formar parte del equipo y estoy contratada. Esta ha sido una sorpresa positiva que me alegro completamente y me hizo sentirme orgullosa y llena de esperanza.
What did you learn from that good and not so good thing that happened to you?
¿Qué aprendiste de eso lo bueno y lo no tan bueno que te sucedió?
From the good I learned that you never know when wonderful things can happen in life, that the small details change every moment and that many times it is just letting go and enjoying the good while it happens. And how bad everything happens for a reason, which are lessons we must learn to be better human beings and never let ourselves fade away. Of everything we experience, we only have learning, no matter how good or bad it has been, but only we ourselves have the duty to know how to use it.
De lo bueno aprendí que nunca sabes cuando pueden suceder cosas maravillosas en la vida, que los pequeños detalles cambian cada momento y que muchas veces es solo dejarse llevar y disfrutar lo bueno mientras sucede. Y de lo malo que todo pasa por algo, que son lecciones que debemos aprender para ser mejores seres humanos y no dejarnos desvanecer nunca. De todo lo que vivimos solo nos queda el aprendizaje sin importar que tan bueno o malo haya sido pero solo nosotros mismos tenemos el deber de saberlo utilizar.
What would you do differently now that can undoubtedly help others?
¿Qué harías diferente ahora y que, sin duda, puede ayudar a otros?
Although it sounds incredible, despite everything, I would not do anything differently, because perhaps in moments of rage, anger and disappointment we usually think that I wish I had never done this. But then you realize that this generated a number of positive and perhaps negative things, but in the end they made you improve yourself, improve as a human being and as a person. Thanks to this, I personally believe that I am stronger in spirit, in feelings, and in heart. Despite so much I enjoy the positive surprises of life and I appreciate them every day.
Aunque suene increíble a pesar de todo no haría nada distinto, pues quizás en momentos de rabia, enojo y decepción solemos pensar ojala nunca hubiese hecho esto. Pero luego te das cuenta que eso genero un sin número de cosas positivas y quizás negativas pero que al final te hicieron superarte, mejorar como ser humano y persona. Gracias a ello en lo personal creo que soy más fuerte de espíritu, de sentimientos, y de corazón. A pesar de tanto disfruto las sorpresas positivas de la vida y las agradezco todos los días.
Always remember that it is not about the positive or negative of the surprise but about the attitude you take towards it and how you transform that feeling. El que nos mantengamos buscando lo que deseamos es como buscar ser sorprendidos, de alguna forma, ¿verdad? "Lo haré, lo lograré... ¡Se hizo!" Eso suele ocurrir con frecuencia. Y es uno de los ejemplos que extraigo de tus reflexiones. Saludos @nayromero 👋
