Cooking Desi Chicken Morog Polao and Desi Chicken Biryani
Assalamu Alaikum, friends,
Today I would like to share with you the experience of cooking delicious Desi Chicken Morog Polao and Desi Chicken Biryani at our village home. The taste of dishes prepared with village-raised chicken is truly special. Compared to broiler chicken, desi chicken has a richer flavor and a wonderful natural aroma.
Early in the morning, I cleaned and cut the chicken into pieces. As you can see in the pictures,

the large drumsticks and fresh chicken pieces looked very appealing. I also prepared good-quality rice and all the necessary spices beforehand.
I usually cook biryani using my own blend of spices along with Raduni Biryani Masala,

because it is easily available almost everywhere and gives a nice flavor. For the rice, I prefer Chashi Rice,

which I consider one of the best choices for biryani. I am not promoting or advertising any product in this post in any way. I have simply shared the ingredients and their pictures because these are the products I used while cooking, and including them helps make the post more complete and visually appealing.
Next, I turned on my electric stove and added oil to the cooker.

Then I sautéed sliced onions along with bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. As the spices fried in the hot oil, a delightful aroma filled the entire house. In the peaceful village environment, such a fragrance makes cooking even more enjoyable.
After the spices were lightly fried, I added the chicken and cooked it well with the spices. Desi chicken takes a little longer to become tender, so patience is important. At the same time, I prepared chicken stock in another pot to make both the biryani and polao even more flavorful.

I cooked everything on an electric stove. In the past, most cooking in our village was done on wood-fired or gas stoves. Nowadays, using an electric stove makes the process much easier and helps control the heat more efficiently.

Once the chicken was nicely cooked and the spices blended perfectly, I added the rice. Then I poured in the hot stock and the required amount of water before closing the cooker lid. Slowly,

the wonderful aroma of biryani and polao began to spread throughout the house. That moment is always my favorite because it feels like the reward for all the effort put into cooking.

Our village is surrounded by greenery, trees, and the sounds of birds. While cooking,

I enjoyed the fresh air and the peaceful atmosphere outside. Preparing food for family in such a natural environment brings a special sense of happiness and contentment.
Finally, both the Desi Chicken Morog Polao and Biryani turned out beautifully. The chicken was tender and flavorful,

and every grain of rice remained separate and perfectly cooked. Everyone in the family enjoyed the meal together and felt completely satisfied. Alhamdulillah, seeing the smiles on their faces made all my hard work worthwhile.
This is all for today. I hope you enjoyed reading about my village-style cooking experience with Desi Chicken Morog Polao and Biryani.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my post.
Thanks
