Artificial Intelligences are very efficient but lack feelings / Las Inteligencias Artificiales son muy eficientes pero carecen de sentimientos [English-Spanish].

I work as an administrator, credit analyst, auditor and financial advisor, and today, with the advancement of technology and artificial intelligence, it is a reality that many professions are being replaced by machines. The roles related to my job are no exception. Machines are capable of performing repetitive and analytical tasks much faster than humans, which raises the question of whether workers in these fields can be replaced by robots and AI in the near future.

Historically, the field of finance has evolved hand in hand with technology. From the invention of the calculating machine to computer systems and software specialized in financial analysis, technological tools have transformed the way financial tasks are performed. However, the advancement of artificial intelligence poses a scenario in which machines can not only perform complex calculations, but also make decisions and predict trends accurately. This poses a challenge for professionals like me because we may feel threatened by the possibility of being replaced by machines in the near future.

This trend toward automation poses challenges for workers in roles traditionally associated with decision making based on data analysis and interpretation of financial information.

From a positive perspective, the incorporation of technologies such as artificial intelligence in the financial field can lead to greater efficiency and accuracy in decision making. Machines are able to process large amounts of data in a short time and identify patterns and trends that may go unnoticed by humans. This can lead to better risk management, higher returns on investments and more informed decision making in general.

On the other hand, the automation of financial roles also poses challenges for professionals who work in these fields. The possibility of being replaced by machines can create uncertainty and anxiety, as well as the need to acquire new skills and adapt to an ever-changing work environment. In a world where traditional skills are quickly becoming obsolete, it is important that we are open to continuous training and updating our skills to stay relevant in the job market.

In the event that machines finally take away my job in my role as an administrator, credit analyst, auditor or financial advisor, I would have to adapt to the new work reality. This could involve acquiring skills in areas such as programming, artificial intelligence or data analysis.

I might also consider starting my own business or looking for job opportunities in growing sectors that require unique skills and creativity that machines can't easily replicate, such as a play actor.

However, although artificial intelligence has proven to be able to solve problems logically and analytically, it lacks the ability to adapt and generate new ideas creatively. Human beings, on the other hand, are capable of thinking abstractly, imagining and creating new solutions to complex problems, which allows us to constantly innovate and evolve.

Human beings are emotional beings, capable of feeling empathy and compassion for others. Artificial intelligence lacks emotions and is not able to understand or connect with human emotions in the same way that we do.

We have an awareness of ourselves and our environment that artificial intelligence cannot replicate. We have the ability to reflect on our own existence, to make decisions based on our values ​​and beliefs, and to be aware of our own limitations and mistakes. This awareness allows us to learn and grow as people, something that artificial intelligence cannot experience.

This is my second participation this week, this time developing the following topic:

Can A Robot Do It Better?: Last week, we talked about our jobs off the chain. However, in your jobs now, can you be replaced by robots and AI? What will you do if it eventually happens and the machines take your job from you? How will you cope in such a world where your skill is now obsolete?

Trabajo como administrador, analista de crédito, auditor y asesor financiero, y en la actualidad, con el avance de la tecnología y la inteligencia artificial, es una realidad que muchas profesiones están siendo reemplazadas por máquinas. Los roles relacionados con mi trabajo no son la excepción. Las máquinas son capaces de realizar tareas repetitivas y analíticas mucho más rápidamente que los seres humanos, lo que plantea la pregunta de si los trabajadores en estos campos pueden ser sustituidos por robots e IA en un futuro cercano.

Históricamente, el campo de las finanzas ha evolucionado de la mano de la tecnología. Desde la invención de la máquina de calcular hasta los sistemas informáticos y softwares especializados en análisis financiero, las herramientas tecnológicas han transformado la forma en que se llevan a cabo las tareas financieras. Sin embargo, el avance de la inteligencia artificial plantea un escenario en el que las máquinas no solo pueden realizar cálculos complejos, sino también tomar decisiones y predecir tendencias con precisión. Esto plantea un desafío para los profesionales como yo debido a que podemos sentirnos amenazados por la posibilidad de ser reemplazados por máquinas en un futuro cercano.

Esta tendencia hacia la automatización plantea desafíos para los trabajadores en roles tradicionalmente asociados con la toma de decisiones basada en el análisis de datos y la interpretación de información financiera.

Desde una perspectiva positiva, la incorporación de tecnologías como la inteligencia artificial en el campo financiero puede llevar a una mayor eficiencia y precisión en la toma de decisiones. Las máquinas son capaces de procesar grandes cantidades de datos en poco tiempo y identificar patrones y tendencias que pueden pasar desapercibidos para los seres humanos. Esto puede llevar a una mejor gestión de riesgos, una mayor rentabilidad en inversiones y una toma de decisiones más informada en general.

Por otro lado, la automatización de roles financieros también plantea desafíos para los profesionales que trabajamos en estos campos. La posibilidad de ser reemplazados por máquinas puede generar incertidumbre y ansiedad, así como la necesidad de adquirir nuevas habilidades y adaptarse a un entorno laboral en constante cambio. En un mundo en el que las habilidades tradicionales se vuelven obsoletas rápidamente, es importante que estemos abiertos a la capacitación continua y la actualización de nuestras habilidades para mantenernos relevantes en el mercado laboral.

En el caso de que finalmente las máquinas me quiten el trabajo en mi rol como administrador, analista de crédito, auditor o asesor financiero, me vería en la necesidad de adaptarme a la nueva realidad laboral. Esto podría implicar la adquisición de habilidades en áreas como la programación, la inteligencia artificial o el análisis de datos.

También podría considerar la posibilidad de emprender mi propio negocio o buscar oportunidades laborales en sectores en crecimiento que requieran habilidades únicas y creatividad que las máquinas no pueden replicar fácilmente, como por ejemplo actor de obras de teatro.

Sin embargo, aunque la inteligencia artificial ha demostrado ser capaz de resolver problemas de manera lógica y analítica, carece de la capacidad de adaptarse y de generar nuevas ideas de manera creativa. Los seres humanos, por otro lado, somos capaces de pensar de manera abstracta, de imaginar y crear nuevas soluciones a problemas complejos, lo que nos permite innovar y evolucionar constantemente.

Los seres humanos somos seres emocionales, capaces de sentir empatía, compasión por los demás. La inteligencia artificial carece de emociones y no es capaz de entender o de conectar con las emociones humanas de la misma manera en que lo hacemos nosotros.

Poseemos una conciencia de nosotros mismos y de nuestro entorno que la inteligencia artificial no puede replicar. Tenemos la capacidad de reflexionar sobre nuestra propia existencia, de tomar decisiones basadas en nuestros valores y creencias, y de ser conscientes de nuestras propias limitaciones y errores. Esta conciencia nos permite aprender y crecer como personas, algo que la inteligencia artificial no puede experimentar.

Esta es mi segunda participación en la semana, esta vez desarrollando el siguiente tema:

¿Puede un robot hacerlo mejor?: La semana pasada hablamos de nuestros trabajos fuera de la cadena. Sin embargo, en tus trabajos actuales, ¿puedes ser sustituido por robots e IA? ¿Qué harás si finalmente ocurre y las máquinas te quitan el trabajo? ¿Cómo te las arreglarías en un mundo en el que tus habilidades se han quedado obsoletas?
