Brown Sugar Tubruk Tea

Hello everyone how are you today?

Are you a Tea Tubruk connoisseur like me? Tubruk tea is a tea made from rough dry tea leaves, this tea is not as smooth as a tea bag in a bag. When making it we have to use hot water so that the dry tea leaves can be submerged and exposed. This method will make the water turn brown more quickly.

Today the weather is very cold and rainy, I took the initiative to make Brown Sugar Tubruk Tea to warm my body.

Maybe some of you feel weird because I made Teh Tubruk using brown sugar.

In my village, many parents enjoy Tubruk Tea with a mixture of brown sugar. Usually they will mix it into a glass or take a small bite while drinking the tea.
In addition to brown sugar, we usually mix rock sugar or granulated sugar. Tea that is still rough like this in my opinion is more delicious and the taste of the tea is thick. Enjoying it while it's still hot makes the body relax because of the warmth of the tea.

But there are some people who don't like it, maybe because the dregs of brewed tea will be a little annoying when they want to drink it. If you don't like it, there is a way to get rid of it, that is, by filtering it, the tea will separate from the dregs.

Below I will share the method and recipe for making Brown Sugar Tubruk Tea.

INGREDIENTS

Coarse tea, brown sugar, hot water.

Hello @ndari, I do love drinking tea, especially black tea. I used to drink lots of real Taiwanese tea from the Alishan mountains when I lived in the Philippines. A friend would take several boxes for me that would last me for the year. I like to have it as hot tea and also as iced tea with lemon.
Thanks for stopping by to share this with us:)

Hello @millycf1976 how are you?
I'm also a tea lover like you, what's more with sweet iced tea I really like it, wherever I am when thirst hits I always look for sweet iced tea. I really want to try the tea there, how does it taste? Definitely no less delicious with Indonesian tea.
Thank you...
