I was looking for a movie that had a bit of action, drama and comedy. I had alot of free time on my hands today My search led me to find Central intelligence. This was weird because I thought I had seen this movie already but I could not remember any scene from it. I remembered a friend suggested it to me a long time ago but I never really got the time to see it back then so I downloaded the movie and boy was I in for the treat. I was just looking for a diamond but I found a whole mine. Just to get myself more pumped up, I saw a trailer for the movie on youtube and from that alone, I knew it was going to be a good movie. Rawson Marshall Thurber, the director really outdid himself on this one, great casting, excellent plot and amazing dialogue.

It stars Kevin Hart and Dwayne "The rock" Johnson, the iconic duo.It's no surprise the kind of chemistry they had in the movie because they're very close friends outside the movie. The both of them have starred in other movies like Jumanji and the upcoming "DC league of super pets" where they both star as the voice actors of Ace and Krypto. That is another movie you should look out for by the way.

I think part of the reason I saw this movie was because I saw the two of them on the poster and remembered how much I loved them in Jumanji. They didn't disappoint me then and they didn't disappoint me now.

Remember Jumanji?

After it's release in June 2016, it grossed at 217 million worldwide against its $50 million budget. It currently sits at a 7.3/10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I'd say that's a fair enough rating. If that doesn't still get you to want to watch the movie, then maybe this will. It was distributed by Warner brothers and Universal studios and I can boldly say they've released some pretty awesome movies during the years.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

The movie starts up in 1996, show Calvin (Kevin Hart), the star of the school. Robbie Weirdicht (Dwayne Johnson) is being bullied by a group of boy and the only person who seemed to show him any sympathy was Calvin.

20 years later, Calvin's life doesn't go the way he expected it to, he works as a forensic accountant and is very unsatisfied with his job. He recieves a friend request on Facebook from an anonymous Bob Stone who turns out to be Robbie Weirdicht but Robbie had put much work into his body and had become this big buffed guy.

Bob asks Calvin for help concerning a case his working on. A group of armed men show up to Calvin's house later and tells him Bob can't be trusted and is currently on the run from them.

They ask for Calvin's help to catch Bob but things don't always go as planned which isn't weird, but it's something you'd expect from a character Kevin Hart is playing. He betrays them. He and Bob go off to try and stop the bad guys from getting codes that would give out sensitive and classified information.

The movie ends with Calvin and Bob attending their high school reunion where Bob gives a speech about being true to one's self.

MY OPINION

First off, nobody can talk about this movie without acknowledging Dwayne Johnson's and Kevin Hart's on screen chemistry. They complete each other. Dwayne Johnson, the tall muscular buff looking guy and Kevin Hart, the annoying dude who looks short compared to Dwayne.

I'm not sure if most of the dialogue between them were unscripted but they killed it. That's another thing, I commend the whole dialogue. The writers gave Kevin Hart the freedom to be Kevin Hart, you know, funny and annoying. There are parts of the movie where you forget everything that is happening because you just enjoy listening to Kevin make jokes. They also let Dwayne do is thing too, being all macho and tough. I might add that Dwayne Johnson also had the chance to explore his funny side in the movie.

The plot is pretty much straight forward but they added twists at different points to make it more interesting. I enjoyed the story line, it had a bit of everything, drama, suspense, action and a whole lot of comedy. Dwayne Johnson's character just goes to show anything is possible if you put your mind to it. From being obese and bullied in high school to becoming a CIA agent with great combat skills and an excellent body. We could learn a thing or two from the character Kevin Hart played too, be kind. Everybody's going through one thing or the other. It helps to be kind to people, you never know how far that kindness goes. Another thing would be your life not working out alright now but things can always change for the better, there's always hope.

Honorable mentions to Amy Ryan who played Agent Pamela Harris and Danielle Nicolet who played Maggie, Calvin's wife. They did a good job with their characters too. Excellent performances. I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed seeing this movie. Its a movie for a rainy or sunny day so if you've not seen Central intelligence, I suggest you do so. You'll definitely not regret it. I'm giving it an 8/10 rating.

Estaba buscando una película que tuviera un poco de acción, drama y comedia. Tenía mucho tiempo libre hoy. Mi búsqueda me llevó a encontrar la inteligencia central. Esto fue extraño porque pensé que ya había visto esta película pero no podía recordar ninguna escena de ella. Recuerdo que un amigo me lo sugirió hace mucho tiempo, pero nunca tuve tiempo de verlo en ese entonces, así que descargué la película y ¡vaya! Solo estaba buscando un diamante pero encontré una mina entera. Solo para animarme más, vi un tráiler de la película en YouTube y solo por eso, supe que iba a ser una buena película. Rawson Marshall Thurber, el director realmente se superó a sí mismo en este, gran reparto, excelente trama y diálogos increíbles.

Está protagonizada por Kevin Hart y Dwayne "The rock" Johnson, el dúo icónico. No sorprende el tipo de química que tenían en la película porque son amigos muy cercanos fuera de la película. Ambos han protagonizado otras películas como Jumanji y la próxima "DC League of Super Pets", donde ambos interpretan a los actores de voz de Ace y Krypto. Por cierto, esa es otra película que deberías tener en cuenta.

Creo que parte de la razón por la que vi esta película fue porque los vi a los dos en el póster y recordé cuánto los amaba en Jumanji. No me decepcionaron entonces y no me decepcionaron ahora.

La película termina con Calvin y Bob asistiendo a su reunión de la escuela secundaria donde Bob da un discurso sobre ser fiel a uno mismo.

MI OPINIÓN

En primer lugar, nadie puede hablar de esta película sin reconocer la química en pantalla de Dwayne Johnson y Kevin Hart. Se completan entre sí. Dwayne Johnson, el tipo alto, musculoso y aficionado, y Kevin Hart, el tipo molesto que se ve bajo en comparación con Dwayne.

No estoy seguro de si la mayoría de los diálogos entre ellos no tenían guión, pero lo mataron. Eso es otra cosa, felicito todo el diálogo. Los escritores le dieron a Kevin Hart la libertad de ser Kevin Hart, ya sabes, divertido y molesto. Hay partes de la película en las que te olvidas de todo lo que está pasando porque disfrutas escuchando a Kevin hacer bromas. También dejaron que Dwayne hiciera lo mismo, siendo todo macho y duro. Podría agregar que Dwayne Johnson también tuvo la oportunidad de explorar su lado divertido en la película. La trama es bastante sencilla, pero agregaron giros en diferentes puntos para hacerla más interesante.

Disfruté la trama, tenía un poco de todo, drama, suspenso, acción y mucha comedia. El personaje de Dwayne Johnson demuestra que todo es posible si te lo propones. De ser obeso y acosado en la escuela secundaria a convertirse en un agente de la CIA con grandes habilidades de combate y un cuerpo excelente. También podríamos aprender una o dos cosas del personaje que interpretó Kevin Hart, sé amable. Todo el mundo está pasando por una cosa o por la otra. Ayuda ser amable con la gente, nunca se sabe hasta dónde llega esa amabilidad. Otra cosa sería que tu vida no funcione bien ahora, pero las cosas siempre pueden cambiar para mejor, siempre hay esperanza.

Menciones de honor a Amy Ryan, que interpretó a la agente Pamela Harris y Danielle Nicolet, que interpretó a Maggie, la esposa de Calvin. Hicieron un buen trabajo con sus personajes también. Excelentes actuaciones. No puedo decir lo mucho que disfruté viendo esta película. Es una película para un día lluvioso o soleado, así que si no has visto Inteligencia central, te sugiero que lo hagas. Definitivamente no te arrepentirás. Le doy una calificación de 8/10.
