My favorite people.

When you're surrounded by your favorite people, it doesn't mean everything's going to be rosey all the time, there's always going to be times when you just want to shove their head in the oven. But these moments, these moments count.

I went on a trip recently, with some close friends, we went to spend the weekend in one of the resorts we had in the area. Was about a 30 minute drive from where we stayed. I immediately knew I was going to be annoyed. Don't get me wrong, I love them but sometimes, they can say some stupid things anytime we go on a long trip.

There's Daniel, the "are we there yet" guy. He is well aware of how long it'd take to get there but for some evil reason, he chooses to ask. Then there's Michael, our very own Shakespeare. He's always trying to sound deep.
"We are not there yet but we are where we're supposed to be, we just have to see the journey for what it is". What the heck does that even mean?

A simple, "no we're not" would've been fine but nooo, Michael wouldn't be able to breathe if he doesn't talk like that. I like Esther, if you're into "the world is ending and we're all going to die" type of people. I have to say, she's not the most exciting person to be around when you're on a road trip. The last of the bunch is Happiness, the only normal person among us as far a normal goes. She's the smart one and I think Daniel doesn't annoy me as much as he does her. But we love him, we love everybody.

The resort was fun, a lot of sight seeing, a lot of chatting, a lot of laughing. I was standing next to Daniel when someone called him, asking him where he was I think because he replied,
"I'm currently in the trenches like this my gee".

I looked at him confused because I was standing beside him and I'm not in trenches, I can't be so what was he saying. He does things like that sometimes, he's a bit funny, funny looking a least.

But the point I'm making is there's never a dull moment with these people and the little things they do will always be amazing to me so cherish whatever moment you spend with your love ones, make every single moment count and remember, try not to smash their head to the wall when they do something annoying.
