What most authors won't tell you on Hive

There are a lot of posts on Hive that help newbies navigate through the platform. A big thanks to @starstrings01, his posts at that time helped me navigate, especially a video he posted on how to post content. There were other blogs that helped too, most talked about good behavior, quality content, the length of your content, and most importantly, your engagement with other users here.
These were the key things to look for to become a good Hiver blogger. These things help me and are still helping me but it is important to note the other things I am about to list now;
ALWAYS READ THE COMMUNITY RULES
This pops up every time we want to want to write something new in a community but most people ignore it because we feel we already know how Hive works. Each community has a different set of rules to follow. These rules help keep the community in check. A perfect example of this is me, the first time I joined @theinkwell community.
I thought it was just another free writing community and didn't read the rules. I didn't know the community had a no-violence policy and the first post I made there had violent scenes. They were kind enough to let me off with a warning. Since then I read the community rules and make sure I follow them.
ALWAYS READ THE PINNED POSTS
There is a reason communities pin post, it could be an extra set of rules to follow or current events happening in the community. It could also be pinned author's content that was found unique. Reading these also helps you know your way around.
READ POSTS FROM OTHER AUTHORS IN THE COMMUNITY
This is very important and has helped me in a community like the movie (@moviesonhive) community. I enjoy watching movies but I never wrote a review. I read the rules and pinned posts but I still could not get the hang of it. I decided to read about 10 reviews at the time and notice how these authors structured their content. I studied and found my way around. Now I can write a movie review comfortably.
GET TO KNOW THE MEMBERS
This goes beyond the normal engagement. One of the goals of Hive is to build interactions between people on Web3. Most times, we see a post we like and make a comment, moving on after that. Sometimes we don't bother to reply to a comment made. The whole essence of individual communities is to help people navigate through their likes. If music is your thing and you pick the music community and interact with other users, everybody there is a music enthusiast and a potential friend. You never know what you might pick up.
ASK QUESTIONS
I don't know if you've noticed, everybody is super friendly on Hive and is always willing to help, even the ones you think are very busy and don't have time. I'm sure most people don't know you can trade too, this isn't just a blogging platform. I only discovered that when I read someone's post in @leofinance and asked questions. He gave me all the information I needed and now, I'm putting my trading knowledge to the test.
This post isn't just for the newbies, everybody can learn from this. If you have something to add, please leave a comment so anybody reading this later can see it.

Estas eran las cosas clave que había que tener en cuenta para convertirse en un buen bloguero de Hiver. Estas cosas me ayudan y me siguen ayudando pero es importante tener en cuenta las otras cosas que voy a enumerar ahora;
All these are what every newbie needs to know. One of the most important here is being able to ask questions because if one doesn’t ask, it can keep one doing the wrong thing for a long time.
I am glad my articles have been of help to you! Have a lovely day.
These lists is so important especially to newbies. Some didn't bother to read rules or pinned post and directly posted only to find out they violated the rules. Oh we always learn lessons from our mistakes @nelson-george.
