Antofagasta Street Art — Frida Kahlo (En/Es)

Without doubt Frida Kahlo has become a symbol of Mexico and also an iconic figure of the feminist movement. I decided to publish the photos of this mural having her portrait today that the we celebrate the International Women’s Day. The mural decorates the external walls of a Mexican restaurant in the Chilean city of Antofagasta.

Ciertamente Frida Kahlo se ha convertido en un símbolo de México y en una figura icónica del feminismo. Por lo que en un día como hoy, ”Día internacional de la mujer” publico estas fotografías de un mural con un retrato de ella, ubicado en un restaurante mexicano de la ciudad chilena de Antofagasta.

The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp. In the edition process I corrected the perspective in addition to the usual modifications done in the photography post-processing.

Las fotos fueron tomadas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra y editadas en Gimp. En la postproducción se efectuó corrección de perspectiva, además de los ajustes usuales.
