Día de competir en el 2º Versus por Categoría 2025•ESP|ENG•
Saludos a toda la comunidad de #SWC y #Hive 🙋🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️.
Aprovechando el contexto del último post, ahora toca hablar del plato fuerte: el pasado domingo 26 de octubre, por fin llegó el día de la “2º Versus por Categoría 2025”. ¡La adrenalina estaba a tope desde bien temprano!
El día arrancó al alba. Los de la delegación de Bolívar y el resto de atletas visitantes nos concentramos en la entrada del Hotel Pavinber Continental. Se sentía esa mezcla de nervios y emoción, todos listos para darlo todo. Tipo 8:20 a.m., abordamos el bus que nos llevaría a Barquisimeto. Tuvimos unas tres horas y media de carretera que se pasaron volando entre siestas, conversación y playlists para mentalizarnos, hasta que por fin llegamos a nuestro destino: el SAMBIL de Barquisimeto.
Como buen aficionado, apenas pisamos el centro comercial, saqué mi celular para capturar el ambiente. Estaba tomando fotos por todos lados: los pasillos, la zona donde se armaría la tarima y, por supuesto, no podía faltar la foto con el invitado especial, una de nuestras mayores inspiraciones en la calistenia venezolana. Hablo de Víctor Allendes, el atleta que ha participado (y ganado) en múltiples ediciones de las SWUB y otras competencias internacionales. Tenerlo ahí, cerca, ya era un plus motivacional tremendo.
Con la lista de participantes ya definida para las categorías Amateur, Semiprofesional y Profesional, la cosa se puso seria. Arrancamos con las rondas clasificatorias, y créanme, el nivel estaba por las nubes. Todos echándole pichón para conseguir los mejores puntajes y asegurarse un buen puesto. ¡Ver el flow y el nivel de cada uno es increíble!
Y cuando el ambiente necesitaba un boost extra, en los recesos, el mismísimo Víctor Allendes nos regaló unas cuantas exhibiciones. Su despliegue de habilidades es una locura, una verdadera demostración de aura y técnica. Verlo es entender por qué es una leyenda. Después de eso, uno solo quiere volver a la barra y dar el doble de sí.

Building on the context of the last post, now it's time to talk about the main event: last Sunday, October 26, the day of the "2nd Versus por Categoría 2025" finally arrived. The adrenaline was pumping from early on!
The day began at dawn. The Bolívar delegation and the rest of the visiting athletes gathered at the entrance to the Hotel Pavinber Continental. There was a mixture of nerves and excitement in the air, with everyone ready to give it their all. At around 8:20 a.m., we boarded the bus that would take us to Barquisimeto. We had about three and a half hours on the road, which flew by between naps, conversation, and playlists to get us in the right frame of mind, until we finally arrived at our destination: the SAMBIL in Barquisimeto.
As a true fan, as soon as we set foot in the mall, I took out my cell phone to capture the atmosphere. I was taking photos everywhere: the hallways, the area where the stage would be set up, and, of course, I couldn't miss the photo with the special guest, one of our greatest inspirations in Venezuelan calisthenics. I'm talking about Víctor Allendes, the athlete who has participated (and won) in multiple editions of the SWUB and other international competitions. Having him there, close by, was already a tremendous motivational boost.
With the list of participants already defined for the Amateur, Semi-Professional, and Professional categories, things got serious. We started with the qualifying rounds, and believe me, the level was sky-high. Everyone was giving it their all to get the best scores and secure a good position. Seeing the flow and level of each player is incredible!
And when the atmosphere needed an extra boost, during breaks, Víctor Allendes himself treated us to a few exhibitions. His display of skills is insane, a true demonstration of aura and technique. Seeing him is understanding why he is a legend. After that, you just want to get back to the bar and give it your all.

Sin duda, un evento más que épico y espectacular, lleno de buenos e increíbles momentos. Agradecimientos, a todo el equipo de trabajo de #swc por seguir haciendo posible vivir todo esto y de ir dejando huella en el mundo de la calistenia en Venezuela y en toda Latinoamérica. ¡VAMOS POR MÁS!
