Hi Mr. Nonames, This is a feature that I invented and Leo and Stemgeeks and other tribes have copied from my city. Basically, yes, if you do not post using neoxian.city, then 20% of the neoxag (and only neoxag) is burned. This only effects posters, not curators.
Why do this? Well obviously I want people using neoxian.city, and I want to reward them. I have this right. And if you don't want to use it, fair enough, but then you don't make as much neoxag from your posts. So yes, this forces you to consider carefully and choose which interface you want to use. It is what it is.

Alright. No complaints here. As long as I don't have to use 100 apps and 100 accounts just to sit back, relax, and upvote things I like, I'm totally cool with whatever the hell you folks want to do with your services. Wouldn't want to make the consumer's life difficult. There's a shortage as it is. Know what I'm sayin'...
I actually don't mind burning city tokens, now that I think about it more.
Hey. Another question. So if I'm out curating/consuming on PeakD, and leave a comment in the city or leo or stem, somebody votes that comment, am I losing out on comment rewards as well?
I don't think comments are affected, just posts.
