Hello everyone, a few days ago, rather, on Saturday 08 of this month of November, yes, this year there was a new event in the city of Barquisimeto with a peculiarity that caused everything to be a little different, what was different this time? Well, the first thing was that it was held at the deanship of arts and humanities of my university, the UCLA (Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado), which is the most relevant in my city.

First, the vision for the conference started with the missive that we could bring Hive to the students. This was one of the conversations in the @hiversbqto team and we all agreed that this was the point of the activity. After this we proceeded to make the criteria to be able to perform such activity in the facilities, for this, @luvilozada was elementary, she studied in this deanship and thanks to talking to my ex-professor we were able to link with a friend with whom ironically I had lost contact and who explained everything we had to comply with to use the space.

Everything was carried out because of the more formal and required criteria of requesting the facilities, what do I mean? A request was prepared for the dean's council, this kept us a little nervous because the council is the highest authority and would decide if we could in such a way deliver the conference at the university, which was confirmed.

The second point is the following, the place where the conference was held is not only a university. In fact, the building was a barracks, and one of the most important in the city, designed by one of the most important architects of the early twentieth century in Barquisimeto, well, I dare say that he was responsible for a high number of buildings with a French style in my city, that is, we were in a place of great historical value. The architect of this building was Roland Coultrox, and I hold him in high esteem because he made in Barquisimeto an urban work of great relevance and unique in Latin America.

Preparations for the Activity

I arrived at the university a little early, with the intention of seeing the space, and also to talk to the professor who would be supervising our stay at the university. When I arrived, the professor was not there, so I simply got ready to talk to the supervisor in a very cordial way, who showed me the book of minutes of the approval of the activity and the criteria to be handled that day.

Between this time of conversation with the watchman and the visualization of the space, the entire organizing team and the speakers began to arrive.

Each one of the Hivers of Barquisimeto began in a very joyful way to prepare the space, and leave it in the right conditions for the presentation. The place was perfect, I liked it very much; since it had stairs because the walls had a double height that allowed taking pictures.

From the conference

In the activity I was part of the Stabb in this opportunity, and my task would be to take pictures of it. At this point, the activity started in a structured and very orderly manner because of the following presentations:

  • @zullyscott and myself with a nice presentation explaining the benefits and a thank you to the university and the students who attended. We both reflected the benefits of Hive from personal, emotional and personal growth points. Something brief, and very warm, that allowed everyone to feel that characteristic of the ecosystem.

  • @filoriologo, @joheredia21, and @yonnathang were in charge of the points presentation: Web3, blockchain, and, what is Hive? All in a very explicit, elementary, and also understandable way.

  • @miriannalis was in charge of a spectacular motivational activity, while I was taking the pictures I wanted to disconnect and participate in it, but I felt the power, relaxation and connection, the activity was accompanied by a melody as well as the words of induction that she directed in a subtle and very captivating way. (In the video you can see a fragment of this moment in real time).

  • @enmy, was in charge of a wonderful presentation where she talked about her experience in the platform, something that caught my attention was the vision in which she addressed the aspects, she was focused more on the elemental and what could be done in the ecosystem, the possibilities of doing things with perseverance and making them happen. That was a very interesting message that I understood in his words.

  • @danielvehe gave a nice presentation on personal branding and the criteria that this gives off or enables in relation to the niches that are chosen. In his presentation I remembered with great emphasis why I opened my ID in Hive and the axes in which I would direct them with a vision to image or structural concept (I will talk about this in another post).

I want to thank the people who are part of the @hivecreators and @hivecreatorsday team, not only on my behalf, but on behalf of all the Hivers of Barquisimeto for the support they have given us in this activity and before. The possibility of leaving a message as well as intertwine and live this experience is also yours, and the whole ecosystem.
