This initiative is very peculiar and at the same time it is very much in conjunction with my grandmother's birthday on September 16, that is, the Friday of the week prior to this publication. Coincidentally, I have been immersed in my work, studies and related responsibilities, at this point, I can not deny that a day before I had to speed up, accomplish everything that needed to be done on Friday in order to go to my grandmother's house to share with my family that day.

I have written in one or another publication that I have always been too attached to my grandmother, in instance the reason is that I am her first grandchild and in question I am her spoiled, well, I was, now she even has a great-granddaughter. I must put things in order, so that you can understand me, the grandmother I am talking about, is, in this case, my maternal grandmother (I could not meet my paternal grandmother for personal reasons that upset many points: points that can be considered a soap opera).

Being the first grandchild of my maternal grandmother, always as I told you, they were flexible, although this did not merit that there was no temperament, I love her grandmother, I can not deny the reality (I will send you this post after published).

Since I was little when I have been with her, that is, I was studying first grade to be exact, I studied on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays I was at my grandmother's house, of course, this was due to the taste and besides being with her as well as my mother's sisters. Being the first grandchild, I had no cousins, only my brothers who were younger than me, and to be exact, we all have different personalities.

From that time I have the indisputable taste of watching great movies, by the way, my grandmother loves Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Cantinflas movies, and to cite an example this movie: Papita, maní, tostón; so I have a lot to write in the future in Movies TV Shows. There are other movies, that I saw at that time with her, the list is long, let's say that because of her I like Bruce Willis as an actor.

I am remembering this as I conjugate it with her birthday on Friday, what is my grandmother's name? Her name is: Irma, a beautiful woman, I can't deny it and despite her age she reflects that beauty in fullness.

I started to live formally with my grandmother when I began to study high school; by then in her house there were only two of my mother's sisters left, coincidentally one of them is the one I watched movies with since I was a child and was the one I spent the most time with (today she is out of the country). My grandmother was always very close to the three of us, the house had been empty, but little by little it was filling up with people and in the end my grandmother moved out, this happened already when we had all left more than two years ago (although she always traveled to other states of Venezuela to see my mother's siblings), I was the one who lived with her for the longest time. She says this phrase: children grow up, that is an indisputable and real phrase.

Friday was his birthday, but the pictures in this post are from last year as well as now. The years go by, the years continue to show us that we can be together even though each of us like any Venezuelan family is all over the place.

I won't reveal her age, and how old she is, what I can say, is that we all wish she keeps smiling and at the same time she can be with all of us. I have learned a lot from her, and not only from her, but from my grandfather for her her previous partner (I love them both XD); they both taught me the values that today she possesses, the reflection of who I am and to fight despite what may be lacking.

Something very peculiar is that my grandmother does not like to cook, but I learned a portion of this from her, and unquestionably I love to eat her arepas (they have something, maybe that is affection or it reminds me of my childhood). There are many things that she cooks, even if she doesn't like it, but in the end I stick to the simple, something that they will say is basic, but in reality represents the value and love of every Venezuelan family.

My grandmother had a strong temperament when I lived with her, but now she is more of an observer and no longer a corrective, in fact the last time I spoke with her and my grandfather, they maintained that the last person they had raised was me. In a way it is like that.

I can tell you without any kind of taboo that my grandmother is an elegant woman, who at the same time is always in fashion, that is a very peculiar aspect of her, that makes her look young and at the same time radiant. Her favorite color is pink, sometimes I dressed in this color for her, I remember that on one occasion at Christmas she chose a giant Volkswagen of that color for me, that toy car was great, but you know my favorite colors are: turquoise blue, white and light blue, peculiar, right? She loved it, and thanks to her I am what I am.

I always tell my grandmother about that toy and she laughs, plus, she maintains that she would buy it again, but I'm glad she's that way.

On Friday I went out early to do some things, regarding my work and surprises, I returned home later after finishing other things, I went to her house and everyone was there. We were all there to sing her an emotional happy birthday as a family, her children, her grandchildren, her great-granddaughter and me; the people who will always love her.

She is my favorite grandmother, she is the only one and after all, she is the one who protected that innocent child, one who is an adult today. I have to answer the second question of the Family & Friends: Hivedamor initiative, and the answer is: No, I couldn't leave her in a nursing home. She has done so much for us, why should we? I live very close to her home, we are always aware of her and to be exact she does not live alone, she is accompanied.

There is much to value, but at the same time we must understand that the real love of all is in the emotions we feel as a family and those who have given everything for us to grow as good human beings.

Muchas gracias. 🙈
