Scribbled walls [Es/En]

Es gracioso quizás escribir esta publicación pero, ¿por qué no? vamos,desde el año pasado he estado en la tarea de ir organizando mi casa, haciendo arreglos aquí y allá, algo que no podía lograr hace unos cuatro o cinco años atrás por la situación caótica que estaba atravesando mi país, si bien no estamos librados de esto aún, puedo ver una diferencia actualmente, en fin, el asunto es que en mis deligencias de arreglar, tubos, cerámicas, techos, agregando más tomacorrientes e ido dejando la tarea de pintura de paredes para el final, pero si les soy completamente sincera dudo que haga esto este año y hay una razón sencilla para postergarlo.

It is funny maybe to write this post but, why not? come on, since last year I have been in the task of organizing my house, making arrangements here and there, something that I could not achieve about four or five years ago because of the chaotic situation that my country was going through, although we are not free of this yet, I can see a difference today, Anyway, the thing is that in my errands of fixing, pipes, ceramics, ceilings, adding more outlets, I have been leaving the task of painting the walls for the end, but if I am completely honest I doubt that I will do this this year and there is a simple reason to postpone it.

Mi hijo menor cuenta con cuatro años y está en el proceso de sus habilidades con los lápices y colores por lo que todo esto termina siendo una aventura diaria cuando encuentro todo el arte rupestre que va dejando por todas las paredes de la casa, suelo encontrarlo también en nuestro piso.

My youngest son is four years old and is in the process of developing his crayon and coloring skills, so all this ends up being a daily adventure when I find all the rupestre art that he leaves all over the walls of the house, I usually find it in our apartment as well.

Y no es que no lo hayamos hablado antes, no, no, no, es una tarea ardua de decirle que no debe rayar las paredes con todo su arte rupestre pero resulta ser que no lo puede evitar, las paredes resultan ser un tipo de bombilla para el y bueno el pequeño es un tipo de polilla, lol.

And it's not like we haven't talked about it before, no, no, no, no, it's a hard task to tell him that he shouldn't scratch the walls with all his scratchy art but it turns out he can't help it, the walls turn out to be kind of a light bulb to him and well the little guy is kind of a moth, lol.

He ideado estratégias para que no siga sucediendo esto pero sin quitarle la emoción por expresarse con todos sus jeroglíficos curiosos, en los que relata aventuras de su día a día e incluso crea mundos. En la primera imagen, en su imaginación soy yo en la cocina haciendo la cena, decidiendo qué hacer, porque no me gusta hacer la cena lol y viendo el dibujo parece que soy una versión de Peppa Pig

I have devised strategies so that this doesn't keep happening but without taking away her excitement to express herself with all her **curious hieroglyphics, in which she relates adventures of her day to day life and even creates worlds. In the first picture in her imagination it's me in the kitchen making dinner, deciding what to make because I don't like making dinner lol and looking at the drawing it looks like I'm a version of Peppa Pig

Una de esas estrategias que he usado es poner papel en ciertas zonas de la casa y siempre le digo que esa es la estación de arte, que puede pintar lo que desee allí y lo hace si, pero luego se le olvida y termina en otro lado sin papel.

One of those strategies I've used is to put paper in certain areas of the house and I always tell him that's the art station, that he can paint whatever he wants there and he does if, but then he forgets and ends up somewhere else with no paper.

Entonces de tanto pensar he decidido postergar la pintura y enfocarme en otros arreglos de la casa y acostumbrarme a conseguír pequeños garabatos por doquier, a final de cuentas en casa siempre estamos nosotros y si llega visita es posible que me toque hacer un recorrido artístico para que puedan apreciar los garabatos del niño.

So after so much thinking I have decided to postpone the painting and focus on other house repairs and get used to get little doodles everywhere, after all at home we are always at home and if a visitor arrives it is possible that I have to make an artistic tour so that they can appreciate the child's doodles.

Me resulta más cómodo que perder la cabeza en explicaciones a terceros o perderla por no poder pintar de una vez, creo que con el tiempo uno aprende a no dejarse llevar por tonterias como esta, más bien reírse de la situación y las ocurrencias finalmente, porque termino siendo guiada por el cuando me muestra lo que ha hecho, el por qué y su significado. Entonces la idea de pintar queda como próximamente si mi hijo no deja la manía de crear su arte en paredes y pisos. Espero disfruten de su arte temprano, yo me divertí editando la imagen 😂

I find it more comfortable than losing my head in explanations to third parties or losing it for not being able to paint at once, I think that with time one learns not to get carried away by nonsense like this, rather laugh at the situation and the occurrences finally, because I end up being guided by him when he shows me what he has done, why and its meaning. So the idea of painting remains as next if my son doesn't stop the mania of creating his art on walls and floors. I hope you enjoy his early art, I had fun editing the image 😂
