My Recent Visit To The Gardens

This is the final instalment of my recent visit to the Gardens by the Bay.

Iconic Supertrees of the Gardens. They are vertical gardens, designed to harvest solar energy, and are self sustainable. They are about 50 meters high. At night, the Supertrees come alive with two light and sound shows.

These plants are all part of the vertical gardens.

There are quite a few bull sculptures in the Gardens. This is ‘Charging Bull’ - a bronze cast by Italian sculptor Anna Chiara Spellini.

Beautiful flowers of creeper plants. They add colours to the place as well as providing shade from the hot sun.

This concludes my recent visit to the Gardens by the Bay. It was a quick walk along the edge of the garden – a route not usually taken by visitors. Visitors usually head for the attractions first. And if they have time, they will explore the rest of the garden. But I have to the gardens several times. So, on this occasion, I thought I would do something different.

As you can see, there is still plenty to discover and marvel at, if one takes his or her time, to look at things with wonder and beauty in their eyes.
