My Personal Recommendation of Boxing Matches to Watch on YouTube

In my last post I talked about how watching full boxing matches in YouTube is something very few people do as I have never met anyone who I know does it apart from myself. I also talked about how it is a very entertaining pass time on the same level with watching movies and lastly I showed how to go about it and how to know what matches to watch.

I've decided to make this follow up post with recommendations of the most entertaining matches I've watched and also a list of Ring Magazine's Fight of the year from 1960. One reason why it's a hugely helpful thing for me to include Ring Magazine's Fights of the Years is because if you go online to find them you would usually find the results of the match next to the names of the fighters, and you don't want that, that's a spoiler; you want to find that out yourself and enjoy the suspense.

Also, the other matches our recommend you'll get this advantage too because I wouldn't be placing the results next to them, simply names and then you can run off and go watch them. I haven't watched all the Ring Magazine's Fights of the Years on YouTube but all my other recommendations I have watched em on YouTube so you can be sure they're easily available on YouTube except they've been taken down or something which I daresay is extremely unlikely. So let's go!

In no particular order, but I found them all really thrilling, amongst all the hundreds of matches I've watched in my life.

Mayweather Fights

2015 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Manny Pacquiao

2014 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Marcos Maidana 1

2014 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Marcos Maidana 2

2007 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Oscar De la Hoya

2013 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Canelo Alvarez

2012 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Miguel Cotto

2017 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Connor McGregor

2002 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs José Luis Castillo 1

Mohammed Ali Fights

1971 - Mohammed Ali vs Joe Frazier 1, 2 & 3 (1971, 1974, 1975)

1974 - Mohammed Ali vs George Foreman

Well, Randomly

2005 - Diego Corrales vs José Luis Castillo

Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz 1 & 2 (2018, 2019)

1999 - Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holifield1 & 2

Micky Ward vs Arturo Gatti 1, 2 & 3 (2002, 2002, 2003)

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 1, 2 & 3 (2018, 2020, 2021)

Manny Pacquiao vs Erik Morales 1, 2 & 3

Erik Morales vs Barrera (1, 2 & 3)

2019 - Shawn Porter vs Errol Spence

If you want to watch a flawless victory where a guy did so well against a great opponent that he made that great opponent look like defenseless, watch:

2009 - Floyd Mayweather jr vs Juan Manuel Marquez

Mayweather did so well, Marquez looked like he wasn't the spectacular fighter he was but an armless man.

In Closing

Enjoy! Watching full boxing matches on YouTube provides endless entertainment and it is mostly untapped by most people. You can read the previous post where I made a case for it, if you need some convincing. Tell me what boxing matches thrilled you the most in the comment section. Cheers!
