DON'T BE PRESSURED BY THE SUCCESS OF OTHERS

Sometimes, when I look at the lives of people around me, I can't help but wonder if I'm moving too slowly. I see people buying cars, building houses, travelling to different places, starting businesses, and living what appears to be a perfect life. Sometimes, it feels like everyone is making progress except me.
But I've come to understand something important: not everything that looks like success is genuine, and not everyone who appears to be doing well is actually doing well.
Some people are genuinely successful, and I celebrate them. But some are struggling behind closed doors while pretending to have everything figured out. Some borrow money to impress people. Some live beyond their means just to maintain an image. Others show us their victories but hide the debts, disappointments, and sacrifices behind them.
And honestly, I don't want to destroy my peace trying to compete with an image that might not even be real.
I've learned that life is not a race where everybody must arrive at the same time. My journey is different from yours, and yours is different from someone else's. The fact that someone my age has achieved something I haven't achieved yet doesn't mean I'm a failure. It simply means our journeys are different.
I want to build something genuine, even if it takes time. I want to make progress that I can be proud of, not achievements that exist only to impress people. I'd rather grow slowly with peace of mind than rush into decisions that will leave me financially and emotionally exhausted just because I want to look successful.
I also remind myself that social media is not a complete picture of anybody's life. People rarely post their sleepless nights, unpaid bills, failed businesses, family problems, or moments of discouragement. We often compare our everyday struggles with someone else's carefully selected highlights, and that comparison can make us feel inadequate for no good reason.
My life doesn't have to look impressive to everybody for it to be meaningful.
If I'm learning, growing, working honestly, improving my character, and taking steps towards my goals, then I have reasons to keep going. Even if my progress is small, it still counts.
I will celebrate other people's success without allowing it to become a source of pressure. I will learn from those who are doing better than me without feeling inferior to them. And I will remind myself that genuine success is not just about what people can see; it's also about the peace, integrity, stability, and fulfilment I have within.
At the end of the day, I don't want to spend my life pretending to be successful. I want to work towards becoming genuinely successful.
So, if you're reading this and feeling left behind, take a deep breath. You are not in competition with everybody. Don't ruin your tomorrow trying to impress people today. Keep working, keep learning, and keep moving at a pace you can sustain.
Your time will come, but don't let the pressure to catch up make you lose yourself along the way.
Let others inspire you, not intimidate you. Build your life, not your image. And remember, a quiet life of genuine progress is better than a loud life built on pretence.
there's no need of being pressured cause of people you don't know there background

Being pressurized by other people's success is like chasing a shadow to me. Thanks for sharing.
