4/5/2026: My Monday morning story with the kids.

Hello, all my lovely friends. Here we go again, it's Monday already! This morning the weather is quite bright and sunny. During the holidays, some of the kids had fevers, and we took care of them until now all four of us have fevers too. We've taken fever medicine and are feeling better, but we still have runny noses and slight coughs. The kids still have to go to school as usual, just wearing masks. Also, the weather has been very unpredictable lately; it rains in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoons. Sometimes it's very hot, but the mornings are the best time – cool and comfortable. We woke the kids up, got them ready to shower and go to school around 7:00 AM. Time to take them to school! The children were very cheerful after dropping them off at school, then I came home. There's still work to do today; a big sweep of the house and some crochet work to do. I feel tired and want to sleep, but I can't do anything more because of the urgent work. At 10:00 AM, it started to drizzle lightly. I spent time on my hobbies after finishing the housework.

Many different kinds of flowers are blooming beautifully because the rain has provided plenty of water. Enjoying the flowers is refreshing, and it's good to boost my morale before doing anything. Haha, it's become a daily routine!

It was almost time to pick up my sister, 12:50 PM, when the rain started pouring down heavily. Luckily, my husband was unwell and resting at home, but it was a bit inconvenient having to get up and drive to pick up my daughter from school with me. On a normal day, if my husband were at work, I would have waited for the rain to stop and then driven my motorbike to pick up the kids as usual. When we got to the intersection, there was so much traffic, the rain was incredibly heavy, and the weather was so cold it was freezing. We slowly turned into the school gate until we had both my daughters in the car. Then we drove on to the restaurant.

This time the kids had so much fun! They got to ride in the car while we went to buy lunch. It was really raining heavily today, heavier than usual, but thankfully there was no thunder because I'm terrified of thunder and lightning. That's half my day story. I felt tired and exhausted after the kids finished eating, so I put them to bed. I worked on my crochet for a while, then dozed off too, until evening when it was time to make dinner. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to read my article today. See you again in the next one! Bye-bye! And don't forget your continued support and following! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Here in the Philippines, kids are on vacation... It's like 2 months before they got back on school again. Anyway, take care, especially the weather is so unpredictable. But I love how refreshing your photo with the rain. ☺️
