Greetings to everyone.

Today my husband and I took the children to make merit at a Chinese temple near the house. This temple was built in Banting City where we live. Which is a small Chinese temple but has a large usable area . Today my mother-in-law invited us to make merit at this temple. In the past, when I visited the temple for the first time when I was pregnant with my eldest daughter, it was about 7-8 years ago that I went back to this temple again. This temple is a one-story temple, not too big but the construction is suitable for the usable area. The roof of the temple is uniquely beautiful with dragons facing each other and the sun in the center which looks very beautiful and artistic. It can be seen that there has been a lot of development, a lot different from before.

When approaching the front of the gate into the temple. There will be a table for placing snacks, incense, candles, and an incense burner where people come to worship and light incense there. Today, there are many people making merit. If it is a normal day, no people come to this temple, they will close the door. This is different from Thai temples where there are monks at the temple and people come to make merit all the time.

A large alms bowl filled with water for those who come to make merit and take it back to take a bath to cleanse the bad things, this is the belief of the person.

This is Esiimsi, which after we were worshiped, we would take the risk before the risk. 1 piece of wood dropped, we will look at the number and pick up the fortune paper. If any one is lucky, we will keep it. But if the fortune comes out bad, we will burn that paper and this is another belief.

Today, the sky is quite overcast, but sometimes the sky is clear like this alternately and when I was shooting the view around this temple, the atmosphere was like it would rain. People who came to make merit today began to gradually turn back and then you could see that there were only a few cars left in the parking lot.

Inside the temple, there will be Buddha images and Guan Yin and the gods that Chinese people respect are separated by a glass cabinet. In front there is an altar table and there are items placed such as sweets, incense, candles, flowers, etc. Notice the ceiling of this temple is designed as a large pink lotus which looks very unusual and different from other temples. I saw a Chinese monk praying inside and we went in to pay our respects and do our duty as well.

The altar table, if we look out from the inside of the temple, we will see the outside view as a spacious parking lot. Today, the sky is quite beautiful, which the sky is still overcast.

In front, there are two marble carved lions on the left and right side of the entrance inside the temple, which looks like a beautiful and meticulous work.

Numerous pots of candles lit beside the altar table. Which is believed to be good for fate or to have smooth and successful in life. Located on tables, it makes us know how many people come to worship at this temple.

At this temple, I saw only 1 Chinese monk. But there are about 3-4 assistants who sell flowers, incense and candles on the side. That should be done together. I noticed that the Chinese and Thai prayers are very different but the purpose is to rely on the spirit of respect and faith that arises from the heart of the person.

On the side there is 1 aunt who comes to sell the table, such as blankets, amulets, talismans, herbs, or even dry food. . But if not buy, everyone would greet each other and then disperse.

A large incense burner placed next to its base has mantras written on it. I asked my husband and he said so. As for the top part, sand will be put in so that people who come to pay respects can take the lit incense sticks there because behind that there is a small lion statue.

And this is out of the activity within the morning of going to make merit at the Chinese temple. After that, we brought the mother -in -law back to the house and we went out to find another food.
