Because previously my youngest daughter had a fever and a red rash on her body. The doctor at the clinic assumed he was afraid of dengue fever. Therefore, it was recommended that we go to the hospital to draw blood for testing and meet with a pediatrician.
When the pediatrician I have read the blood test report. Then it's time for a physical examination, such as checking for redness that appears on the body. Then listen to the heartbeat and lungs. Normally the doctor will check like this all the time if we notice it when we go to the doctor. But after checking the heartbeat. The doctor looked a little stressed. Before starting to ask about my daughter's history.. Whether you have given birth prematurely or not, any health history since birth Which from the time my daughter was born until now She will be a cheerful child, good-humored, smart, strong, and has no previous medical history. This time I'm beginning to feel bad. Because I don't know what will happen to my youngest daughter.
Finally the doctor said My daughter has a heart problem. But they told us to see a cardiologist only. Yesterday we went to see a heart specialist.. At 4:00 p.m., we went to see a cardiologist and the doctor examined us by x-ray. It took nearly twenty minutes. And then the doctor summarized the test results and let us know what had happened to my youngest daughter.
The doctor said, “My daughter really has a heart problem. That is, the heart wall doesn't close completely. And there's a hole in my heart. which makes the heartbeat abnormal And as a result, the daughter is stunted, unable to grow, thin, and unable to gain weight. When I heard the reason, I felt astonished and felt sorry for my youngest daughter. But the child doesn't know anything. He was still cheerful. Smiling brightly as always.. The doctor recommended the treatment method: One treatment involves inserting an instrument through the front of the leg to heal. But the doctor said my daughter was underweight. The second is open chest surgery. However, the doctor advised us to submit documents for treatment to the government hospital. Because of the high cost of treatment and the life insurance we have taken out for both of our children. Unable to withdraw medical expenses.
